We started using Starshipit in order to use Uber Delivery. However, we encountered issues right from the setup stage, and it’s been over a month now without resolution. Uber’s support has clearly stated that Starshipit needs to create an admin account for us, but Starshipit has been passing the buck and not addressing the problem. To this day, it’s still unresolved. They don’t reply to our emails, and despite paying for Starshipit, we have not been able to use it at all. This is by far the worst Shopify app service we have ever experienced — without exception.

After investigating with Uber, we found the issue was caused by a mismatch in account types; you had an Uber for Business account rather than the required Uber Direct account. This meant rate calls couldn’t be made and neither Uber’s nor Starshipit’s support teams could progress the setup until that was clarified. Since your ticket was raised on July 30th, our support, partnerships, and development teams have been actively liaising with yourself and Uber to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Uber has now acknowledged the situation and apologised for the confusion. Once the new Uber Direct account is finalised, your Starshipit setup should be ready to go.
