We ship over 1000 orders a month through Starshipit, these are the issues that have cost us the most time. There is no way to find an order by scanning a product barcode. We have to manually type in the product SKU to pull up every order, which wastes a huge about of my staffs time and results in errors. We have multiple locations in Shopify, and changing the shipping location on an order is a real problem. When you change or split an order, it can take 10 or more minutes to drop off the old location. In that window it shows in both, and we have ended up shipping several orders twice, once from each location. It does not import the full product details either. Size, colour and so on do not come through, so you are left guessing from the SKU alone. On top of that, it will not stay logged in on mobile or iPad. When we print a packing slip from inside Shopify, it logs us out on every single order. Also, no phone support. Our ability to ship out orders is critical so we need to be able to pick up the phone and get issues resolved immediately. There have been a few issues that have taken hours to sort out which brings our warehouse to a standstill. For a tool this central to our dispatch process, these are basic things that should just work. GoSweetSpot is much better software, and it's free so will be going back to that.

Couldnt get the app set up, not much support to help and after a month we were charged for the professional plan when we I had selected the starter plan. we will be removing this clunky service.

Uninstalled app in trial, never used it and was still charged for it. Tried to contact their support and the ticket continuously fails to send.

Starshipit overall is a pretty great app, enabling us to utilise Direct Freight with our Shopify site is a huge win. Also the Starshipit AI is one of the best AI's we've experienced, it really understands the majority of queries and prompts and is a great help when you need it. It's certainly a better interface and integration than all other logistics apps we've utilised. With that being said, there is still items that should be improved. 1 is the product catalogue, there has been MANY times I've found odd data and formatting in a spreadsheet export. Not a huge gripe, but something they should improve upon ASAP in all areas.

Whilst the app works well, when we first got onto this app pricing was very reasonable and since then (2 years approx) prices have gone up twice and not exactly little jumps. Be wary if you chose this app you will get charged more in the near future.

Incredible customer service and an extremely easy to learn, easy to use platform. Between the shipping portal and the warehouse management system I don't think it could have gone smoother!

Have found the experience setting up Starshipit relatively easy, and the warehouse team find easy to use. The customer service has been super helpful when we have questions and following up with calls etc.

I’ve spent the last few years hunting for the right shipping partner on Shopify, cycling through apps that were either too flimsy or over-engineered and overpriced. Starshipit is honestly the "Goldilocks" hybrid that I was looking for. It provides the high-end, complex settings you actually need, but with a simple interface that doesn't require a degree to navigate. Best of all, it actually scales with your business, you aren’t forced onto an expensive corporate plan just to fulfil smaller order volumes. A huge shoutout to Millie, who was incredible during our setup. She helped us nail the integration and the fine-tuning so we could get up and running smoothly. It’s rare to find a support team that truly understands the technical side of the setup. For the first time, I’m in total comfort knowing our shipping is calculated and fulfilled like clockwork. At first I felt very overwhelmed with setting up this app for my store but it really is worth it after I got amazing support with setting up and ensuring everything was up and running! Millie was a great help and always there to answer any questions I had. Starshipit has been so easy now that its all set and running. Definitely recommend

So this is a full on scam, it says right in there app listing that its 30 a month and then when you add the app it goes right up to 90 a month and they tell you there is no such thing as a 30 a month plan. STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS APP

Comparing those numbers to AUD pricing can create the impression of a jump. The $30/month Starter plan is still available in the App Store (USD), which our team clarified on your call. We run a single Shopify store with multiple fulfilment locations and spent a significant amount of time trying to make Starshipit work reliably. In the end, the only stable solution was to use Starshipit purely for label printing inside the Shopify admin and avoid the Starshipit app interface entirely. The core issue is that Starshipit is not ready for true multi-location fulfilment unless you are willing to operate under a strict no-changes post-purchase policy. Any changes after checkout (for example address updates) often required orders to be deleted from child accounts and manually re-imported, which is not scalable. Shopify order splits across locations caused ongoing fulfilment and writeback issues, leading to duplicated or reappearing orders and added admin work. This cost us thousands in time and operational overhead. Support was slow to respond, but to their credit, they did eventually try to help and were transparent about platform limitations. Unfortunately, the workarounds were too manual for a growing business. Starshipit may work well for single-location stores with minimal post-purchase changes, but for multi-location operations that value flexibility and customer service, it is not production-ready in its current form.

We started using Starshipit in order to use Uber Delivery. However, we encountered issues right from the setup stage, and it’s been over a month now without resolution. Uber’s support has clearly stated that Starshipit needs to create an admin account for us, but Starshipit has been passing the buck and not addressing the problem. To this day, it’s still unresolved. They don’t reply to our emails, and despite paying for Starshipit, we have not been able to use it at all. This is by far the worst Shopify app service we have ever experienced — without exception.

After investigating with Uber, we found the issue was caused by a mismatch in account types; you had an Uber for Business account rather than the required Uber Direct account. This meant rate calls couldn’t be made and neither Uber’s nor Starshipit’s support teams could progress the setup until that was clarified. Since your ticket was raised on July 30th, our support, partnerships, and development teams have been actively liaising with yourself and Uber to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Uber has now acknowledged the situation and apologised for the confusion. Once the new Uber Direct account is finalised, your Starshipit setup should be ready to go.
