After trialing numerous inventory platforms to fill the void left by Stocky's sunsetting, we were delighted to find Stockie. Raising purchase orders in Stockie is simple, intuitive, and seamless. Just what our team needed. On top of a great platform, the support has been outstanding. Jake has been incredibly responsive and helpful with onboarding us and rolling out updates as needed. Highly recommended if you're looking for an easy-to-use inventory solution!

Not a true stocky replacement. the purchase order, stocktake, and transfer is just a reskin of shopify's native system.
Hi Panda Hobby team, Jake here, co-founder of Stockie. Sorry it didn't work out. I've emailed you directly - I'd like to understand what you were missing and see if we can get your workflow going properly. A couple of clarifications for anyone else reading. Stocktakes and cycle counts are Stockie features - Shopify admin doesn't do these natively yet. Transfers are in development now and shipping ahead of Stocky's sunset at the end of August. On the look and feel: Stockie is an embedded Shopify app, so building to Shopify's design system is a requirement for every embedded app. Underneath it, the forecasting, average cost tracking, supplier management and receiving workflow are all our own. Support comes straight to me, so if you're evaluating Stockie and something isn't behaving, email and you'll hear back quickly. Regards, Jake Co-founder, Stockie

I have worked with many Shopify apps over the years. Jake (co-founder) and his team have truly next-level customer service and response times, they are already like part of our own team. With the sunsetting of Stocky (with a y), we were pretty worried about our Purchase Order management as strong and intuitive inventory management is so crucial. We have a lot of local and International suppliers. We just didn't find the inbuilt Shopify PO system enough for our needs. A big plus for me is that Stockie (ie) feels "Shopify Native" so I didn't feel like I was learning a whole new platform. Jake (co-founder) has been brilliant in onboarding us and getting us up and running. They did our PO migration, and we were up and running within a day. Thanks Jake! Honestly - beyond impressive. The absolute closest replacement for Shopify's Stocky that we have found. Intuitive, easy to use and perfect for managing purchase orders and invoices as well as stock forecasting. The developers are incredibly responsive and willing to implement any features we have requested/require for our business. 10/10 rate.

Since Shopify discontinued Stocky, we were looking for a reliable replacement and discovered Stockie. It has been an excellent solution for inventory management, forecasting, and purchase orders, with even more features than Stocky. Jake has been absolutely wonderful to work with. He was very responsive, understood the changes we needed, and was happy to make adjustments to suit our business. The outcome has been fantastic, and we are now using Stockie effectively across our operations. Highly recommended for any Shopify business looking for a powerful inventory management and forecasting solution!

Pros: The most robust PO ordering system and the closest to Stocky that I've found. The support has been great and all my questions/issues have been swiftly addressed as I transition. Including creating a custom csv download that works with my barcode printing app. Cons: It is very expensive. I really only need the app for doing POs and not inventory management/forecasting and I am disappointed that POs are only offered as a feature on the most expensive level. If POs were offered on a lower cost tier, I'd be giving 5 stars.

If you're here to replace Stocky's purchase order generation, it'll do what you want, but you'll have to subscribe at the $60 tier regardless of other factors.

That's exactly the workflow we've been focused on getting right for merchants coming across from Stocky. You're right that POs sit on our top tier, and $59.99 is a real consideration - we don't take that lightly. Some context on how we think about it: Pro Plus is designed as the full inventory management suite - demand forecasting, reorder suggestions, supplier management, cost tracking that syncs to Shopify, and now stocktakes - so merchants running their purchasing through Stockie are getting the whole workflow, not a single feature. As an independent app, subscriptions are what fund development and support directly. That said, every merchant's setup is different - which features matter, how much of the suite they'll use. If the standard tiers don't line up with how you'd run Stockie, that's exactly the conversation we want to have. The customer support through this app has been the best experience. Jake has helped us import items from Stocky and added features to help us transition. This app has been a great solution with Stocky being sunset.

As others have said, we found Stockie (we'll call it Awesome Stockie) when looking for a replacement for Stocky (we'll call it Sad Stocky). We were never impressed or excited by Sad Stocky. We mostly settled on it because it did the basics of what we needed, and all the other apps were expensive, and had a lot of extras we wouldn't use. Looking recently, that is what we were finding this time around too, until we found Awesome Stockie! We're big fans of the name- it's the kind of humor we enjoy. Stockie is great. Like if Stocky got a glow-up. (If we're being honest though, we don't think Stocky had it in them). Awesome Stockie does the things that we used in Sad Stocky, but so much better. We have hundreds of vendors, and many tens of thousands of items, so at any given time we have tons of pending purchase orders at different stages of fulfillment. Awesome Stockie handles all of this, and was straightforward and easy to learn. But also, the support! WOW! Jake is the best (we'll call him Awesome Jake). We're not sure if he sleeps since he is always there to help, but it's so appreciated. We were really feeling overwhelmed by trying to find a new way to handle our purchase orders & receiving, but we're so glad we found Awesome Stockie & Awesome Jake!

Stockie has been a great alternative to Stocky for our Shopify store. It is easy to use, clear, and gives us the stock management tools we need without overcomplicating things. The app has made managing inventory and purchase orders much smoother, and the support has been helpful whenever we have needed it. A really solid option for anyone looking for a practical Stocky alternative.

Jake has been very responsive to my questions during my trial period of Stockie as I need to make the switch from Stocky. Updates are being made quickly to match the capabilities we have with Stocky. There's no need to find another app. This one is affordable, capable, and the staff is accessible. Stockie will be our new home! Thank you for saving us time and helping our business run smoothly!

Like a lot of other retailers, we were distraught about the sunsetting of Stocky (with a y). After looking at multiple replacement options, we found Stockie (with an ie) and have been so grateful for their support team, especially Jake! They made the migration process easy and answered all of our questions. Plus, if we had suggestion about the app itself, they would let us know that it was on their roadmap for future updates! We highly recommend this app for inventory management. It is simple and cost effective while still offering every feature that you need.

It's only been a few days but Stockie is showing us data and sales velocity our other inventory management tool couldn't keep up with. We're happy with the results so far.
