Shopify Store Migration
All reviews
every word moved but not images. there were no images on the csv file to later use to add our items on shopify.
Average. The app only covers the basics of migrating a website to Shopify.
Not sure she correctly or completely
While it brought in the items, photos and descriptions, it did not correctly bring in pricing where an item has variants.
I had issues with the migration from Ebay where the system did not flag the product as "Physical Product" causing the store to show them as sold out. It took time and a chat with support to get it corrected. It also did not import the pictures, so I still had to manually put them in.
Not all items were imported, the reason for that was not well-explained and no solutions or instructions for how to correct were provided
Many of my products failed to mitigate and did not include variations. I want to uninstall it and set the store up manually but not sure how that's done?
It was very easy to do, however, I sell fabric and I can't seem to find out how to adjust the inventory or the weight for proper shipping charges. AI helped me find the answer but the directions are incorrect. There are no shipping options listed when I activate the individual fabrics. Not sure what to do now.
It brought my listings over... but unfortunately, they are not functional and there are issues with telling Shopify I do have inventory for each item, especially if a listing had variants to begin with. The option to add the inventory simply isn't even showing up. I am finding myself having to start each listing from scratch sometimes to fix the issues. Maybe it will get easier as I learn more about Shopify, but currently, it isn't very intuitive. The formatting of the listing descriptions is also completely off, so I am having to recopy all of those as well.
I used it with Square and the images did transfer .
Took a few attempts to get everything in and this saved loads of time. However, no pictures or descriptions were imported so I have to insert them manually (over 9000) which will take a month of Sundays.
It is a nice feature to have but it doesn't upload quantity or vendors which is very important to our store. So it is time consuming to go through everything and add that.
It didn’t completely migrate over. On Shopify I got the product but no pic, no stock count, but I did get the sku number and the cost. I worked with what I had and just added what I could.
