Tax Rex takes all the guess work out of tracking and remitting Sales Tax for your Shopify store. We need to remit sales taxes each quarter and used to struggle staying on top of this. Now we don't even have to think about it! Tax Rex tracks the taxes in connection with Shopify Tax and then sends our payment to the state! Badabing.. badaboom!!

We were with Avalara for years. The customers service was impossible, the fees continued to increase and we had a new account rep every six months, making it impossible for any continuity of service. Moving to TaxRex has been a weight off my shoulders. They make the process simple, like it should be. The fees are reasonable and they respond quickly. I wish I would have made the switch earlier. I can now focus on other aspects of our business.

they file my state taxes so I dont have to deal with it- its amazing and customer service is very friendly, fast and efficient!

TaxRex has been so helpful with the transition from the previous 3rd party filing service we had been using. Their communications are prompt and clear. The previous service left several of our state accounts a mess and difficult to get into. TaxRex, with their patience and expertise, helped us work through every one of them. I wish we had switched years before! Highly recommend!

Tax Rex has been very helpful throughout each filing for each state. Whenever there is nuance to our process, Tax Rex is able to adapt. They are responsive in their support and the filings have been seamless. If there are any troubles with the filings, just reach out to Tax Rex's support team for step-by-step instruction. Can't recommend them enough!

These guys take a lot of the pain out of sales tax compliance... as much pain as it's possible to take out of sales tax compliance at least :) The auto file is so simple/good. Excellent, highly responsive support team - an order of magnitude better than TaxJar.

I want to make these people cookies I like them so much. We have been with Avalara for about 2 years and just went through a major issue where Avalara filed a number of returns for us incorrectly - it was a nightmare. What made it worse was trying to get a hold of someone in their customer service dept who would actually DO something about it. It took two months (yes two months of back and forth) to learn that they wouldn't correct their mistake unless we paid a tremendous amount of money to correct the filings. I have been with Tax Rex for less than two weeks and they've already corrected over half of the filings, been extremely communicative and clear in those communications. It feels like going from some of the worst customer service I've every had to some of the best. I'm so grateful that Tax Rex exists, is so simple to use, responds promptly to questions, and helps as much as possible. I wish I would have switched over a lot sooner!

If you are looking for an easy-to-use tax app with great customer service then this is the app for you. Responses to our questions have been very quick and friendly. We found the app easy to install, easy to monitor nexus thresholds and they have made the option of setting up auto file returns for our required states so easy. So far this had been an excellent app that I would highly recommend.

Great app and great support. Flexible enough to automatically ignore certainly order types if you want (Amazon, etc.) and the reporting turned out to be more accurate than the reporting from Shopify. Have also recently started using their auto-filing service and happy with that as well!

The Tax Rex app is straightforward to use, and the customer service team is helpful and responsive. We have a complex tax setup with economic nexus in many states. The Auto File service saves our team a lot of time.

We have moved to Tax Rex after being with TaxJar for a long time and it is a world of difference. Tax Rex was totally devoted to our taxes from the start. They are easy to communicate with (which was not even possible with TaxJar), They respond to any question very fast and are extremely accommodating. They have handled left over issue from the time with TaxJar without charging for their extra efforts and with great attention. I have been waiting with this review a few months to let the reader know that it is valid over time and not just a quick start review. I recommend Tax Rex full heartedly to any Shopify owner!
