UserWay Website Accessibility
The reviews for the Userway Website Accessibility app are mixed, with both positive and negative feedback. On the positive side, users appreciate the ease of installation and deployment of the app, as well as the helpful and knowledgeable support team. The AI features for adding alt content are also praised for simplifying the process. Additionally, users have reported significant improvements in website accessibility scores after using the app, with some reaching up to 96%. On the negative side, there are concerns about the high cost of the app, with some users feeling that the paid version did not provide the expected level of WCAG compliance. There are also mentions of legal issues and lawsuits related to the app's compliance.
This is very expensive. And we're being told this doesn't work very well.
Paid version literally does nothing for WCAG compliance. Removed 0 items from the audit list provided by a third party. Zero. None. Waste of $50 bucks.
Very easy app to install and deploy, the AI features on the site made it very simple to add alt content! Support was very fast to reply and very helpful as well as knowledgeable about their product, and was able to answer questions and point me in the right direction first try.
We have this and after spending $1300 on a yearly plan and we are currently involved in a lawsuit that claims this is not compliant and told by my lawyer widget attracts more lawsuits as there is softwear that lawyers use to detect widgets.

I reached out to Support through the chat this evening just to get some questions answered and Mark responded within 2 minutes! He was very helpful and even helped me find what I couldn't on my end when I was confused with screenshots. We had run into some trouble with our site in the past and were just checking to make sure there wasn't anything we needed to do. He explained my questions and even recommended what we should do on our end to make sure we have a smooth and efficient experience with the app! Recommend using the chat and app!!!
