I've been using HelpfulCrowd for about a year now for my website, beyondbohemian.com and I've been really impressed with this app, especially the support that I've gotten from the team there. I've used other review apps before, including some of the other biggest names, but I really like this one the best because of the level of customization and control I have over it. Sure, you might find others that are a little lower cost, but they are often lacking in essential features, especially if you're trying to run a serious business. The increase in conversions and the way I can control the way reviews display make the higher-tier plans very easy to rationalize. I love how, any time I have a question, they are super fast to respond and walk me through everything step by step. They've even offered to do things in my Shopify store on my behalf, where I don't have to touch anything at all. I just tell them what I want, and they're happy to work with code or whatever it is I may need. This is definitely one of the few essential apps that I'll keep in my Shopify stack long-term.
Migrating my reviews from another e-commerce platform was so easy! Great support when I had questions. Yusuf even set up a video meeting to fix a problem I had with the stars appearing in the wrong place. He went over and beyond and I can’t thank him enough for his skills, patience and professionalism.

I had difficulty with someone spamming my reviews. The support for this app helped me fix that and a bug where I could not respond it questions so I am very happy with the help I received. I have been using this review service for a while and I love that my customers can post photos it’s really fun seeing them using the product. I like the ability to answer reviews and questions and engage with customers.
Hi there, we're sorry that you were not able to find the help desk application in our app to get support. Hopefully you have been able to find it now as well as our Helpdesk articles. It sounds like 'Store front reviews' was enabled, which allows anyone to write and leave a review. Disabling this feature will ensure that only 'verified buyers' can leave reviews. We also have a feature to disable automatic publishing of reviews. This can also be found in settings. lastly, there is also a 'captcha' option to reduce bots and people spamming reviews. We hope that you were able to enable the above features to stop the spamming reviews.
