We want to clarify that our Auto-Upgrade feature is not enabled by default— it must be manually activated. It's designed to ensure your website stays fully translated even if your word count exceeds the plan limit, and we make this clear during setup and in our documentation. That said, we understand it can sometimes be overlooked, and we're always happy to review it and check further with our customers to see exactly what happened. Regarding the ongoing charges, it appears that your subscription was not fully canceled, which is why billing continued. Canceling on Shopify or uninstalling the app doesn't automatically cancel your subscription with Weglot, as billing is handled separately.
