Weglot: AI Translation & SEO

Real salvation, we were looking for a way to solve the language translation problem, and their help, as well as individual adjustments, really helped our website. Highly recommended.

Impossible to give more than one star. I spent over an hour trying to set up this app. Even after following all the instructions, the warning messages kept appearing despite everything being correctly enabled in Shopify. The interface is confusing, the setup process is not intuitive, and the app feels full of bugs. It's impossible to tell whether the issue comes from the app or the configuration. To make things worse, there isn't even a live chat. If you need help, you're told to send an email and wait. Very disappointing first experience. I've uninstalled the app and will be looking for another solution. Goodbye.

By far the best support team, always available and ready to help. Beyond its features, it’s the best app for taking the headache out of managing multiple languages. It’s been a pleasure working with Weglot for years.

I have been using this app for almost 5 years. Would I use it again for a new brand? Probably not. There are too many complex issues when it comes to Shopify Markets and backend translations. And when you need customer support the most, you often have to wait 5 to 6 hours just to get a response by email. Guys, even in 2026, for such a big company, they still don’t offer proper chat support. Then, after a few rounds of emailing, the person helping you is suddenly off, someone else takes over, and you have to explain the whole issue again from the beginning. On top of that, it’s not the cheapest option. I am still using it because I don’t want to translate the whole website again. Also, their automatic translations are pretty useless because they don’t properly respect informal or formal language. To enable that, you need to be on the Advanced plan, which I think costs around €300 The only thing I do like is that the app can detect and translate almost everything. Well, almost. You still need Shopify’s Translate & Adapt for backend translations such as checkout and email notifications. Honestly, I would not recommend installing it. Save yourself the headache and stress. You are probably better off using Shopify Translate & Adapt.

Weglot has been an excellent solution for managing translations across our Shopify Markets setup. The platform itself is powerful and intuitive but what really stands out is the support. Manon and Antoine have been absolutely legendary. Their responsiveness, technical knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond to troubleshoot complex issues made a huge difference for us. They didn’t just provide answer, they genuinely helped us move forward. Highly recommend Weglot, especially if you value strong, reliable support behind the product!

The support is exceptionally: my question about DNS settings with Shopify and Weglot was answered by Fanny from Weglot in a fast, detailed, professional and really friendly manner. Eine sehr gute App die einfach zu integrieren ist, dabei ist die Modifikation einfach und übersichtlich und der Support ist wirklich sehr gut, schnell und freundlich. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Nous sommes très satisfaits de Weglot et de la qualité de son support client, qui est vraiment excellent. Le seul point d’amélioration concerne la traduction des images, qui nécessite parfois une intervention manuelle et peut s’avérer un peu chronophage.

This is the go to solution if you are looking for translating your website. Also if you went a bit too hard with hardcoding your sections, it even translates those. Also whenever you have a problem, just contact customer support. Best customer support i ever experienced.

Un grand merci au Support, qui s'est vraiment arraché pour trouver le bug avec Klaviyo mais tout est ok et solutionné ! Les échanges sont rapides et super efficaces alors merci Valentin et Manon et toute la team. Je traduis actuellement tout le site en Allemand et je vois deja les positions Google monter sous 1 mois avec une centaine de mots clés dans l'index Google.
