We have found the support very responsive and helpful.
I would have given it 0 stars if that were possible. This app was recommended by an agency, but they clearly haven’t used it much. Translating our mega menu is impossible. The default translations are catastrophic, Google Translate does a better job. And when you need to make changes, it’s only word by word. In short, don’t waste your time or your money.

La pire app que j'aie utilisée. Pour qu'elle fonctionne, il faut changer les DNS de ma boutique. Résultat : quand j'ai désinstallé l'app, et que j'ai voulu remettre les DNS d'origine, cela a créé un problème technique majeur qui a rendu ma boutique inaccessible pendant une journée, et m'a fait perdre beaucoup de temps pour que je comprenne quel était le problème et comment le régler. Shopify ne devrait pas permettre à des apps d'imposer des changements de DNS comme le fait Weglot.
Bonjour, Merci pour votre retour. Nous sommes sincèrement désolés pour les difficultés rencontrées et pour l’impact que cela a pu avoir sur votre boutique. Pour clarification, Weglot ne modifie jamais les DNS d’une boutique sans action volontaire du marchand. Certains réglages DNS peuvent être proposés dans le cadre d’intégrations avancées, mais ils sont toujours optionnels, documentés et réversibles. La désinstallation de l’application n’entraîne aucune modification automatique des DNS. Nous comprenons néanmoins à quel point une indisponibilité de site est pénalisante et regrettons de ne pas avoir pu vous accompagner à ce moment-là. Nous n’avons malheureusement pas réussi à identifier votre compte pour analyser précisément la situation. Weglot has been my go-to translation solution for over 5 years. It’s simple to use, supports both automatic and manual translations, and integrates flawlessly with WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, and more. Very easy to set-up and very helpful support - they reply within minutes (on workdays). I believe for final polished translations they still need to be reviewed, LLMs unfortunately are not there yet. Hopefully they will keep improving, specially translate more within context of where the translation is, about what it is, what page/product is about.

Weglot est un excellent outil de traduction, simple à utiliser et très efficace. Mais ce qui fait vraiment la différence, c’est leur service client : toujours disponible, réactif et prêt à aider jusqu’à ce que le problème soit résolu. On sent qu’ils se soucient vraiment de leurs utilisateurs, ce qui est très rassurant quand on gère un site e-commerce.
UPDATE - MY WORST IN FIVE YEARS OF SHOPIFY The app does not work with shopify markets, I advertise for nothing, the site is not stable and the check out broken most of the time because of weglot. The customers service says it works. If I could put less than 1 star I would do it. Minus 100 stars. Stop sending useless emails, contact me to build a real solution. That crap for 400 euros / month ?????? ____ Worked well the first time. Stopped because expensive. Reinstalled and then a nightmare began. Super low level customer service just copy pasting helplessly the instruction of the website. DISAPPOINTING for such a budget !
