Le support par courriel répond rapidement, les réponses sont claires et toujours bien détaillées avec des captures d'écrans ce qui aide énormément. Je trouve l'app facile d'utilisation. Certains réglages précis pour ma boutique en ligne sont plus complexes pour mes compétences mais le support est toujours très aidant!

Updated comment:After testing a couple of other applications, I have to admit that Weglot is by far the fastest and easiest when it comes to actual translation. This is thanks to its unique way of handling translations virtually, so your pages are instantly available in other languages. The glossary management is also extremely convenient. The only technical challenge I faced was setting up subdirectories. If pricing isn’t an issue for you, this app easily deserves five stars. My three-star rating is purely because of the pricing model. ------- Original review One of the most baffling applications I’ve used — and not in a good way. Eventually, you’ll find yourself deep in a rabbit hole, trying to exclude as many translations as possible, as Weglot keeps inflating the word count day by day. And their word count estimation tool? Completely misleading — don’t rely on it. Our small business (200 products), with only two translated languages, somehow exceeds 200,000 words, putting us in the $299/month pricing tier. That’s just not sustainable. We’ll absolutely need to look for an alternative solution. That said, full credit to their support team — they’ve been responsive, proactive, and genuinely trying to help throughout this frustrating experience.

We've been dealing with 4 languages on our Euro website. Managing these by hand was too complex and costly. And even when doing it by hand, a lot of translations get lost through the cracks. We also tried other auto translate apps. These apps were not reliable because they were either limited in the number of translations or just would take days to translate a simple website. Weglot fixed all this! It took a bit of time to setup properly since we use sub-folders for our languages but once we got it setup with the help of the Weglot team it translated our website on the fly! No need to wait days, every page is translated as it's loaded. And the options for translations are much more advanced. You can have words that never get translated (ex: your brand name and trademarks). You can force some words to be translated in a certain way (good for words that have multiple meanings). Overall this app is well worth the price. Having a full time employee translating would cost much more. And finding one person that speaks 4 languages willing to translate our site full time is almost impossible. Highly recommended!

Our experience with Weglot turned into a complete nightmare. What was supposed to be a simple translation solution ended up disrupting our entire website theme. As a result, four different parties had to spend several days repairing the damage. Even after removing Weglot, code remnants remain, continuing to affect the stability of our site. Additionally, the online fix provided on their website simply does not work. Overall, a very frustrating experience that we wouldn’t wish on anyone. Note: After this, Weglot proactively reached out to us and resolved the issue — for which we are truly grateful. This helpful follow-up is the reason we decided to adjust our review from 1 star to 4 stars. Thank you for the support.

1-Star (Wish I Could Give 0) – Deceptive Billing & Unauthorized Charges I canceled my subscription two months ago, yet I’m still being charged 325/ month. When I signed up I picked the 39/month Business plan, but the platform automatically enabled a hidden "Volume Upgrade" option—something I never noticed or consented to. Because of this deceptive practice, I was charged over $300/month for four months before realizing what happened. Even after canceling, the charges continue. This is predatory behavior—shame on this company for exploiting customers with sneaky auto-upgrades and ignored cancellations. I’ve already taken action by: Reporting to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) Disputing all charges with American Express Filing complaints with relevant consumer protection agencies

We want to clarify that our Auto-Upgrade feature is not enabled by default— it must be manually activated. It's designed to ensure your website stays fully translated even if your word count exceeds the plan limit, and we make this clear during setup and in our documentation. That said, we understand it can sometimes be overlooked, and we're always happy to review it and check further with our customers to see exactly what happened. Regarding the ongoing charges, it appears that your subscription was not fully canceled, which is why billing continued. Canceling on Shopify or uninstalling the app doesn't automatically cancel your subscription with Weglot, as billing is handled separately. This app translates everything - even what others don't - and the support is very reactive and effective ! App is easy to install, to use and the support answers any question quickly and also fixes issues in our site if needed.

Outstanding support experience! Weglot’s support team (especially Manon) has been absolutely amazing. They helped me customize my translation setup down to the URL level, patiently walked me through regex exclusions, optimized my word count usage, and fixed multiple Shopify Markets issues and page visibility issues. It’s rare to get such hands-on help these days. Huge thanks to the team!
