Terrific app with top-of-the-line customer service. I reach out multiple times a week and receive prompt replies with solutions to my issues, which are not issues with the app, rather issues with our way of accounting and having to adjust. Highly recommend!

Xero Integrator by CarryTheOne works every time, all the time. It has been an essential part of our business since 2016. The few times we have had a problem our end have received immediate attention on a personal level. Altogether an excellent product and service.

This app is the lifeblood of our business' bookkeeping, and it is the only method that can successfully link multiple stores to our one Xero account. Far superior to the shopify/xero integrator, and the technical support we have received over the years is responsive and top notch. Don't hesitate to install and use this, it pays for itself in time saved. The amount of options presented to you in the setup seems vast, but you will learn as time goes on that they are all necessary.

We've been using CarryTheOne Now since 2014 for a number of integrations with various websites, and I have to say that the service and support of the staff has always been very good. The integration itself is seamless and once configured saves so much time, money and man hours. On the very few occasions we've had any issues they've been dealt with efficiently via a few emails. We've had a number of customisations to our feeds so that they work the way we need them to and these have been cost effective to implement and released with no impact to the day to day processing of the feeds. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone who is looking to integrate their store with Xero.

When the app works its fine, however we have had the same problem happen over and over again. It immediately suspends the integration from working. I have contacted support via their contact us section, via email, pretty much everything short of smoke signals in the past. At no point have they got back in touch, explained what is happening, or how to avoid it. Were currently offline again for almost a week. No response from support.
Every one of the client's emails was responded to. It appears there was a problem with email deliverability although the client's email server did not bounce the emails in the usual way. Contact was eventually made via the contact form on the client's website. Regrettably the client does not believe that these replies were sent and still believes they were simply ignored. Customer support has indeed experienced problems in the past with replies made later than the target period, but a great effort has been made to improve response times, which is why it is especially sad to see this review. For the record, the problem concerned a recurrent temporary error at Xero's end. The integration has since been improved to handle this temporary error seamlessly.

This is a great app. We have been using it now for over 4 years and it has run perfectly. Support has always been very helpful.

This app has worked very well for us. I switched to it several months ago after a lot of problems with a different one - I've had no such problems with CarryTheOne integration. There are a few scenarios that have confused it, but not only does it fail gracefully (you know it broke and can manually fix it - as opposed to hidden errors like the other app I used to use), but the support team are great at releasing enhancements to solve the problem soon after I raise it. In fact I've found them really good - I was worried when I read a few reviews saying support was poor - I've had the opposite experience. Recommended!

Carry The One is being used by my clients to integrate both GBP and Euro sites into a single Xero accounting system. I am impressed with the extensive level of integration, allowing different control accounts to be maintained for various methods of payment, bank accounts and charged fees, for example GBP Cash, Euro Cash, Credit Card Receipts, including accounts for Exchanged Goods. The app has now been used for over 6 months and is proving very satisfactory. I have had one issue relating to exchange rate conversions during the last 6 months, however, this was dealt with in a very professional manner. David Bennett - Dale-Shaw Business Services

Customer service often frustratingly slow, especially during times when needed most. Professional help was still needed outside of the support offered; I would not recommend this app for small business owners with only basic bookkeeping skills. Our setup was incorrect from the beginning and we had months of transactions that needed to be rectified, the outsourcing of which resulted in much stress and out-of-pocket expenses.
I am very sorry the client feels let down and improvements will be made based on this experience. It is important clients check they are happy with the imported accounting data (invoices, invoice payments, etc.) after they have completed the set up as mistakes left unchecked can indeed be tedious to correct especially if left for an extended period. Hundreds of clients have been able to successfully set up their integrations without external help. This is not to criticise this particular client in any way as requirements and skill sets can vary widely. Clients should assess the output of the service during their free trial to see if it meets their requirements. If they are unable to make this assessment, they should seek professional advice (e.g. from a Xero Adviser).

We have 6 stores in multiple currencies and the app happily transferred sales and payments over with the correct tax treatment. It has been working well since 2017. The big difference between this app and others is the incredible detail and control you have over every facet of the import.

used to be good - not sure if they are still in business - cannot get a response and the app has been down for days meaning huge disruptions for us - been using for years and usually pretty reponsive ..................................
Very sorry to let down this long term, valuable customer with slow support due to backlogs around this time. The issue, which was specific to this particular store, proved more difficult to resolve than expected.

By far the best Shopify to Xero Integration ( especially for many transactions from multiple payment gateways ). Love the product, keep up the good work!:) Supports multiple simultaneously synced shopify accounts linked to one Xero account at once from one dashboard . Catches order errors/inconsistencies/new payment methods instantly; and emails you links to the orders that are involved and stops the sync until you opt to handle the same or reconfigure or opt to handle manually, which is fantastic, so no lost transactions and constant feedback and support for error catching. May require (optional) careful setup because of extra options for identifying and dealing with multiple payment gateways in different ways(including optional POS isolation for till reconcilliation) and excellent error and Xero invoice tracability (can reference payment gateway on invoice so as to help reconciliation) . Notes: Dashboard is not on shopify; and note that I had to set it up and install the integration from the apps website, not from Shopify. But worth it because you can inegrate to multiple cloud accounting softwares and multiple Shopify like databases all in one place. -If you need to seperate POS sales from website sales, first replicate your scenario in a trial Xero account first;so as to fully understand how comprehensive and useful the options are. Wishlist: -To be able to backdate the start of the integration from the initial setup. -To have the option of which account and tax rate to use for rounding up, and which account and tax rate to use for rounding down, for each payment method

We switched over from Bold and found Carry the one to be even better than expected. We are able to set up exactly what is required for our business and bring across our Shopify payment orders as paid and the Paypal payment orders as unpaid so reconciling is Xero is a breeze, no more having to edit orders after they have migrated to Xero. The set up takes some thought and you really need to know your way around your accounts to match everything up. Reading the tips and help along the way is a must. This app has saved us hours of work every month.

A total waste of time and resources. This app is not working and there is NO support. Should be deleted from the app store. ZERO STARS
While it is true that the initial response to the client was outside the standard response time, for which full responsibility is accepted, the review is however inaccurate for the following reasons: 1) The client states generally that the app is not working while in his initial email states that it is working for one of his stores (the issue with the store in question was likely due to a third-party app but it was no longer possible to investigate this because the Xero integration app had already been uninstalled) 2) The client's claim of "NO support" was made after he had already received a reply to his enquiry.

In fairness it works pretty good. Been using it for 3-4 years with reasonable function... when its working... its good. It can stop working occasionally but it gives you clear notifications of whats happened and its pretty easy to remedy. It pays not to rush the initial set up but there is trial and error required to get it humming along... Support has improved and is friendly and Lech offers a nice "human touch" to his communication. Ive had my ups and downs with CTO but overall Im still happy and still using it.

I cancelled my account during my trial period, but they still helped themselves to $31.99. I have sent 3 emails to them but have not had any response AT ALL. These people are a bunch of crooks that feel they can just take your money. DO NOT USE!!!!
These claims are categorically denied. The client states "I have sent 3 emails to them but have not had any response AT ALL.", however a DKIM verified email received from the client dated before the review can be provided to Shopify that includes a support response in its thread. So this claim is provably untrue. The app charge was made by Shopify and it was advised that they should be contacted regarding this dispute and for reimbursement because developers have no control over the timing of these payments and cannot process refunds for apps that have been uninstalled (this function simply does not exist). Based on the app history it would appear that it was in fact uninstalled on the 31st day after installation (one day after the 30-day free trial ended). Even if that were the case (and not as the client claims, within the trial period) an exception would have happily been made and any refund request authorised (as has been done for other clients), but no follow-up was ever received.

Have been using this app for a couple of years without a problem. In july last year i had I had to change my paypal accounts over. I notified CarryTheOne of the new account and ask them to debit from my new account. They didn't do anything and my old paypal kept overdrafting. Just recently in my old paypal i stopped the payments and they paused my integration. I restarted the integration with myn new paypal accoount but an error message came up saying i needed to contact support to start the integration from where it left off. Its been 8 days and i have sent an email every day, To both the sales team and the support team. No response at all. My orders are piling up and i cant get them to respond. So the app works great, the support team gets a big fat Xero, excuse the pun. Im at a loss as what to do as my orders are piling up everyday and i just cant get anyone to help.
