4.27.26 I have consistently given Yotpo a 1 star review. Recently I did so again. However, a Ralph B. from Yotpo contacted me and has greatly assisted me in getting all my issues resolved - hopefully on a long-term basis. He offered to implement the changes and when I declined and said I would implement them myself, he gave me very detailed instructions on how to do so. He timely and consistently responded to my questions. At this point, I have resolved all my known issues and am satisfied. I greatly appreciate his assistance so I have changed my rating. Assuming the widgets I am using work as intended, going forward, I will certainly be satisfied. I have at least 6 support cases open on YOTPO. I have a lot more than 6 issues but I'm being prevented from opening any other support cases. Why? Because 1. They have no support and 2. Nothing ever works the way it is supposed to or consistently. The reviews for top selling products have disappeared completely or the stars next to the product name do not show up at all even though the reviews show up below the product description. This is a REVIEW app and yet the very foundational features do not work or work inconsistently. How impressed should people be with this garbage? How long should I wait for support? I think if an app is expecting to be paid, it should respond to support requests in 24 hours. Yotpo responds weeks later, if at all. One would have to go to YOTPO university to actually fix all the things that is wrong with this app. It apparently expects customers to spend hours to fix these things with lousy and unclear directions. For over a year, there's a button on my main page that says I should click it to install a newer widget. I've attempted to install the newer widget at least 50 times with no result. This app is an absolute nightmare. No support. Nothing ever stays - constant updates that don't transfer. Yet they will contact you day after day trying to get you to upgrade. Why would anyone upgrade when the current version doesn't work? DO NOT CHOOSE THIS REVIEW APP. You will regret it. UPDATED 6 Months Later: If I could give YOTPO MINUS 100 Stars for customer service I would. There is no customer service. In fact, there seems to be a definite pattern here. You open a support request and they then close it so that SHOPIFY thinks it's been resolved when in fact, they have done absolutely nothing. Even if they commit to doing something, they don't follow through. You open another one and the same thing happens. It's absolutely unbelievable. This App should be immediately removed from SHOPIFY. And, Shopify should care a lot more about this than it appears they do. Store owners should not be subjected to this non-support. It's hard to even call it nonsupport since they actively work against everything you do which has a negative impact on your store and business. This needs to be investigated. 6 Months ago-I have now made 15 support requests with no help from this app. It should not be on Shopify. It needs to be removed. DO NOT use this app as you will have NOTHING but problems with no support whatsoever.
