Fantastic App. My accountant highly recommended, and sure enough it solved a big headache for us! Without a2x, reconcilling would be difficult...
A2X is really the only choice for E-commerce sellers, it helps us deal with tax compliance for both our Shopify store and marketplaces like Amazon, without it we would spend days in excel calculating sales into our Xero accounting system, with a2X it takes just a few minutes to double check the automated invoice creation and one click to send it to Xero, its not the cheapest thing in the world but ultimately we pay it for a happier life, accounting of thousands of transactions is not why we started selling online, this is a godsend :)
Still in the process of setting this up with an accountant. I had quite a few questions that required the assistance of A2X's customer support team and the customer support team was incredibly helpful. Fast responses, answered my questions and provided plenty of resources that helped me to understand the app.
I used this app to seamlessly integrate shopify, paypal, stripe, and all the various platforms we receive orders. This app has greatly improved my accountants ability to do her job and saved me a lot of money on additional bookkeeping/accountant expenses.
I highly recommend using the A2X app if you plan on using Intuit Quickbooks with your Shopify account. The app allowed myself as a bookkeeper to easily connect my client's Shopify account to my Quickbooks Accounting practice. This is very helpful in providing a seamless transition in connecting the two accounts which creates much convenience in managing the finances of a small retail business.
Highly Recommend using A2X, this 3rd party application has help me save so much time! They help sync my shopify, stripe, and paypal payouts daily.
Brilliant app once you understand how it works. Customer support are very helpful also. Don't hesitate it saves a lot of manual work. Could be cheaper for smaller businesses that's my only negative but everything could be cheaper I guess!
I couldnt find any other app that would correctly reconcile PayPal fees, Shopify transactions and payouts until I found A2X. I would definitely recommend this as a great app to automate your accounting.
This app has saved processing time and reduced errors. Once the taxes and account codes have been set up and linked with Xero the automated sync works a dream.

This app has really helped with reconciliation of my accounts. Its extremely simple to use and customer service has been excellent. The A2x sync's with my xero account and matches transactions with the various ordesr from my store which saves me a lot of time and gives me the ability to focus more on my shop rather than the accounts.
I love the way this app makes accounting for my online sales a breeze. Very happy to have migrated away from our prior app that just caused headaches trying to reconcile our books.
i love this software! works great for all my ecomm needs! I sell on walmart, amazon, shopify etc so i finally have a good way to integrate this to Xero for accounting through a2x
I love A2X because it makes reconciling transactions as easy as possible saving so much time and headache. For anyone in e-commerce, this is a must use app and you can not go without it.
I use this app to bring my transactions into XERO and it works perfectly. I moved from BOLD apps XERO integrator to A2X and A2X is a decent upgrade in my opinion.
So far my experience has been great. Setup was easy and customer service has been great. Looking forward to see how it works on the long run.
This app is mission-critical. I use it to generate .iif files to import into QB Desktop for Mac - it's one of the few services that doesn't force you to use QB Online and I really appreciate that! The account mapping takes some patience, but it's well worth the time. We don't use the COGS functionality, but I think that could be helpful for many businesses. Support has been stellar.
Integrates well from Shopify to Xero. There have been no issues with syncing. Does everything I need it to do and is very user friendly!
Not having a capability of sending individual invoices and customer data from Shopify to Xero made this app no good for our requirements. It would work ok for someone just looking for a bulk payout reconciliation but not individual invoices.
Hi there, Thank you so much for your review and details shared. You are correct, A2X will fetch the payout data that contains all your individual orders, however A2X will not post the data as individual orders to the accounting system. We do not send individual orders to the accounting system and therefore the level of detail for invoicing customers is not in A2X. The fact that we consolidate the data is one of the main features of A2X, so we have sellers using A2X processing just a few hundred orders a month right up to hundreds of thousands of orders per month, and the beauty of A2X is that they never have to change systems as they grow. Our main focus is the overall accounting data as this is what allows you to easily reconcile and have accurate, compliant accounting without having to duplicate individual orders and customer info that is captured and held in Shopify. A2X will create an invoice per payout. If the payout covers a period inside of one month, then A2X will create one invoice. If it covers a period which spans over two months, then it will create two invoices in Xero (one for each month) to ensure your sales and fees are accounted for in the correct month. A2X will fetch the payout data that contains all your individual orders, however A2X will not post the data as individual orders to the accounting system. The main reasoning behind that is: a) We have found that when doing Shopify accounting based on order data it is extremely hard to ever correctly reconcile to the payments in your bank account b) Cloud accounting packages generally recommend against having too many transactions in your accounting system - your accounting system will never get clogged up. As your Shopify business grows, the large number of invoices becomes increasingly difficult to manage and less useful for management reporting. For example, if you have 100's of orders per day, you likely do not want to review each one within your accounting system but you do need complete confidence that Shopify paid you the correct amount and how that payment reconciles to your sales and fees. A raw settlement file containing all individual transactions will be available for you to download from A2X for your records. This file will also be sent over to Xero attached as a file named 'settlement-report.txt' for audit purposes.
