Hi, We're sorry to hear that you had a frustrating experience. After reviewing your account, we'd like to clarify a few important points: 1. Your campaigns were active for a total of 18 days, which is a relatively short period for the platform's optimization algorithms to gather sufficient data and deliver stable results. 2. We identified dozens of campaigns that you created - the system  recommended to decrease this number to help improve performance. Unfortunately, these recommendations were not implemented. Our records do not show spending anywhere near the amount mentioned in your review. 3. Our support team reached out multiple times to offer assistance and review your account setup, but we did not receive a response. 4. Dozens of orders were generated due to the ads created and with the proper adjustments of the campaigns your results would have improved We understand that advertising performance can be disappointing when results don't meet expectations, and we genuinely wanted to help optimize your campaigns. Our team remains available and would be happy to review your account together and discuss any concerns regarding campaign setup, spend, and performance. Please feel free to contact us directly, and we'll do our best to assist. The AdScale Team

Updated Shopify Review AdScale solicited the removal of my original negative review in exchange for free service. This is what happened next. I originally posted a 1-star review of AdScale documenting poor performance and unresponsive support. Frank, one of the owners, contacted me, offered a 100% discount for two months and two months of account management, and asked me to remove the review. I complied in good faith. He confirmed in writing: "Thank you for removing the review already." That email is dated April 16, 2026, and it is documented. This was not an isolated request. Another Shopify merchant posted a review on this same listing in December 2024 documenting the identical offer -- two months of free service in exchange for removing a negative review. That makes this a pattern of conduct by AdScale, not a one-time mistake. After I removed the review, the problems continued and worsened. The account manager assigned to my store, Nicole, built campaigns that were broken from the start. Carousel ads linked to my homepage instead of individual product pages, costing conversions on every click. Meta placements were set to Facebook only, excluding Instagram entirely -- inexcusable for a visual product line. Lookalike audiences were targeted against a customer base of fewer than 400 purchasers, far too thin to generate meaningful signal. The campaign structure consisted of three campaigns, one ad set each, with no more than two ads per campaign -- structurally incompatible with what Meta's Andromeda and Lattice delivery systems require to optimize. The creative contained distorted product images, which is unacceptable for a brand built on the quality and presentation of handcrafted goods. I requested the ads be stopped on a Friday. AdScale did not respond. The budget continued burning through the weekend. I stopped the campaigns myself on Monday. Total spend reached $1,107. Total returned value: $205. Four orders. I then sent Frank a detailed email documenting every error and requested a different account manager. His response was four lines suggesting I pause the ads (which were already paused) and schedule a weekend call. He addressed none of the specific issues raised. When I notified him I was discontinuing the relationship, his reply was: "Why are you taking things in the wrong way?" That is the AdScale playbook: solicit review removal with promises of resolution, fail to deliver, blame the merchant when problems are documented, and rely on the suppressed reviews to maintain a misleading public rating. The 4.7 average rating on this listing is engineered. Negative reviews are removed through incentive offers. Positive reviews cluster around early onboarding impressions before performance can be evaluated. The G2 profile has been unmanaged for over a year. Trustpilot reviewers document an 11-day support gap, €2,800 in lost spend with one attributed sale despite promised 4x ROAS guarantees, refund refusals using Israeli headquarters to sidestep EU consumer law, and predatory billing practices including charges for a full year of unused service with no refund. I have reported this incident to Shopify Partner Support as a violation of the Partner Program Agreement, which explicitly prohibits incentivizing merchants to add, edit, or remove reviews. Frank's April 16 email is documented evidence. This review is reinstated and will remain in place. Other merchants deserve to see the full record before they install this app. Avoid AdScale.

We’re disappointed to read this review and strongly disagree with both the characterization of events and several factual inaccuracies presented here. First, it is important to clarify that this merchant never paid AdScale for the app itself. The account was already operating under free service periods and promotional support. Claims suggesting we attempted to “exchange refunds for review removal” simply do not align with reality because there were no app subscription payments to refund in the first place. As part of our customer success efforts, we occasionally extend complimentary service periods, onboarding support, or additional account management assistance to merchants who are experiencing difficulties and are willing to continue working collaboratively toward improving results. This was intended as a retention and support effort, not an attempt to suppress reviews. Second, the advertising activity referenced here lasted a total of approximately 11 days and generated 4 attributed orders during that period. While the merchant was dissatisfied with profitability, the store was in fact generating sales through AdScale at a higher rate than before the campaigns launched. Advertising optimization, especially for newer or lower-volume stores, requires testing, learning phases, creative iteration, and sufficient data over time. No serious advertising platform can accurately judge long-term performance from such a short period. The claim that campaigns were “broken” is also misleading. Campaigns were structured and managed based on the available store data, audience size, tracking signals, approved creative assets, and platform best practices available at the time. Meta advertising strategies are not one-size-fits-all, and there is no universally “correct” structure applicable to every merchant or budget level. Regarding support, our team remained actively engaged throughout the process despite increasingly aggressive communication from the merchant, including repeated demands that AdScale reimburse advertising spend, something we explicitly do not do and have never represented as part of our policy. Multiple support calls and follow-ups were provided in an effort to assist and de-escalate the situation. Unfortunately, during these interactions, our team was also threatened with negative reviews unless full refunds and ad spend reimbursement were provided. We do not believe review systems should be used as leverage in commercial disputes. AdScale has worked with thousands of ecommerce merchants over many years. Like any advertising platform, some stores achieve strong results while others require more iteration, stronger offers, improved products, or more mature conversion funnels before paid advertising becomes consistently profitable. We remain committed to providing professional support, transparent communication, and AI-driven advertising tools designed to help merchants grow. We wish this merchant the best moving forward.

AdScale has completely lost my trust over a marginal financial mistake. I have uninstalled the app and strongly advise others to be extremely careful. During my onboarding session, an AdScale agent demonstrated how to set up a Meta campaign but pushed it live entirely without my approval. This error resulted in unauthorized ad spend being charged to my account. When I contacted support, they acknowledged the situation but refused to refund the money, hiding behind the fact that the actual billing went through Meta. Even though the mistake was exclusively triggered by their agent on their platform, they refused to take true financial responsibility for their error. If a platform's onboarding process can spend your money without your consent, and the company won't reimburse you for their own mistake, they cannot be trusted. I have uninstalled the app and strongly advise others to be extremely careful.

We’re sorry to hear that this merchant left the platform frustrated, but we would like to clarify several important points regarding this situation. During onboarding sessions, our team assists merchants in configuring and launching advertising campaigns within accounts that remain fully owned and controlled by the merchant themselves. Campaigns cannot run without the merchant having previously connected their advertising accounts, payment methods, and granted the required permissions through Meta and AdScale integrations. In this case, a campaign was launched as part of the onboarding process and advertising spend was incurred directly through Meta’s platform, not through AdScale billing. As with all digital advertising platforms, media spend is charged directly by the advertising network once campaigns are active and traffic begins delivering. We understand the merchant was unhappy with this outcome, and our support team reviewed the situation seriously and responded promptly. However, AdScale does not reimburse third-party ad spend charges incurred through Meta accounts, and this policy is clearly separate from AdScale subscription billing. Importantly, the amount referenced here was relatively limited, and the situation stemmed from a misunderstanding during campaign setup rather than any intentional action or unauthorized access. At no point did AdScale have the ability to independently charge the merchant outside of the permissions and payment methods already connected within their own advertising accounts. We take trust extremely seriously and continuously improve our onboarding and communication processes to reduce misunderstandings and ensure merchants feel fully informed before campaigns go live. AdScale continues to support thousands of ecommerce businesses worldwide, and we remain committed to providing transparent tools, hands-on support, and AI-driven advertising automation designed to help merchants grow successfully. We genuinely wish this merchant success moving forward.

Hello, I just want to share my honest feedback. Their support team takes too long to reply in the chat, and the assistant is not helpful at all. They created one search ad, but the keywords they used are not even ranking or relevant. In my Max campaign, I personally added all the headlines, descriptions, pictures, and even the video — so what exactly are they doing? They told me I have to wait almost 90 days for the best results. But if I run ads directly on Google, Google’s own AI also optimizes over time — so what’s the real power of their AI? Even my ad strength shows as “poor,” and no one contacted me to help improve it. I’m still in the trial period, otherwise I would have already lost my money. Honestly, I suggest that if you already know how to run ads yourself, don’t expect much from them. They just say “our AI will take data and improve,” but in reality, it works the same as Google’s AI.

been using for a while now, while its iterface is good, it is very bad in tracking ROAS. Sales which are not even generated from campaign are being reported as sales. there is no clarity on the sale and its performance. They tag everything to there pixel and have not logical explanation to this incorrect tracking.

Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to clarify how AdScale’s smart reporting works to ensure accurate ROAS tracking: Verified Order Tracking – AdScale only attributes orders that are explicitly tracked in Google or Meta. If an order is not found in these platforms, it is not counted in AdScale’s reporting. Your Pixel Remains Active – Your existing tracking pixels continue to operate normally. AdScale’s unique pixel complements them by precisely identifying which orders came directly from your campaigns. Clear Attribution – The Orders Tab in AdScale provides full transparency, detailing exactly which orders were attributed to which campaigns. Each order is counted only once, avoiding any duplication across Google and Meta. Support Outreach – Our support team has reached out multiple times offering to validate your claims and demonstrate that the reported orders were indeed generated from AdScale campaigns. Unfortunately, we have not received a response yet. We’d love to work with you to resolve any concerns. Please respond to our support team so we can walk you through the data.

I tried this software for the second time. The first time, the results were not what I expected. The second time, Adscale destroyed my entire account. After I installed the app, all my products were duplicated in the merchant account, and the support team was unable to resolve the issue. Additionally, Adscale imported data blindly, including age and a lot of other irrelevant information that had nothing to do with my products. The results from the AI were also not as good as what I can achieve when I manage it myself. This app will not help grow your business, but it might help destroy it.

Hi, We are sorry you did not feel the benefit of the app in a short period of 21 days running the ads with our app. During this short period our campaigns outperformed your existing campaigns and would have continued to generate even better results. About the feed - AdScale uploads our own set of products which do not interfere in anyway with your products - we mentioned this multiple times. In no case did we "destroy" your account and your products continued to run with no issues. Support has contacted you many times to explain the points you raised but you did not answer us. Please answer us so we can resolve this issue.

Hi, We try our best to keep our customers happy and must clarify a point: We do NOT request any delete of google ads account - this is not something Google allows as a permission - we ask for campaign management for only our AdScale created campaigns. Our support is trying to contact you to assist in resolving the issue.

Tried the app for a month. The AI did not seem to do anything but raise the CPC way higher than it was when I run manual ads. I got worse results with the app compared to manual ads. Also less exposure for the same money. The interface also is terribly slow and there are some issues with the interface itself. For example you can choose up to 5 videos when making facebook and instagram ads, but adscale only create ads with one of the selected videos. I asked the customer service about this and their answer is that adscale only suports one video per ad set. Then why do they allow you to select five different ones? I tried this app since I was tired of babysitting the ads manager but it was not a solution that worked for me. If you have some knowledge about runing ads you should stay clear of this app.

So now after I deinstalled the app I have to realize that all access to by Facebook Business Manager has been "stolen". I already reached out to Facebook, hopefully they can reverse this. I can NOT recommend this under any circumstances!!! Installed the app but the choice you can make are sooo limited... very bad.. It shows all my products and I only want some of them - not possible. Those which are shown are completely wrong displayed... with all small letters - looks so unprofessional. Have the feeling this is not really thought trough

This app is completely misleading and not worth the amount of access/data you have to provide to them. We received an unexpected bill for over $1000, despite having a daily budget of $5 per day (or $150 p/month). There is no where on their website that tells you they charge commission. They clearly state "You'll only pay for sales generated by AdScale" and look at their response to one of their FAQs: "Q: Do you charge me for the advertising costs? - No, the advertising costs are billed directly by Google & Facebook. We only charge you for app fees." (Fees which equal almost $1000!) We have now cancelled Adscale and are doing just fine without them. You do not need to trust your advertising to a third party that rips you off. To top it all, the sales rep contacted us the next day only to ARGUE with us about how great they are and we couldn't possibly get the same results without them. Well, Adscale, we are. Don't be fooled! Use Facebook, Google and Instagram adverts yourself!

It's also important to mention that the app fees billed to you were after our app has generated your store $18,561 in sales during your first 30 days, and your overall spend was $1,248 (including the actual app fees). Our pricing can be found at: Our website: https://ecom.adscale.com/pricing Our help center: http://help.adscale.com/adscale-for-ecommerce/how-it-works/how-does-adscale-pricing-work During the Registration process. And also on this actual Shopify app page. It's very unfortunate that you chose to uninstall the app and not continue your campaigns. We wish you all the best.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP. They take control of your Google Console and then remove your ownership. Creating all sorts of problems for your store sales an traffic. BE VERY CAREFUL and leave this page immediately. Do Not Trust this app (This is the first review I have ever left - and was suggested to by the Shopify Guru I spoke to earlier). I have full record of every conversation and e-mails from Google regading this fraud. This app SHOULD NOT be on Shopify. It is a disgrace.
