Forces you to install a chrome extension that will "read and edit all websites". When a browser extension can read and change data on all websites, it means that the extension has permission to access and modify any information displayed on any website that the user visits. This can include personal information such as login credentials, credit card details, and other sensitive data that a user may enter while browsing the Internet. Such permissions are often granted to extensions that provide certain functionalities but can also be misused by malicious actors to steal user data or spread malware.

The Chrome extension is only used to help analyze and configure the store theme correctly during setup. The permission wording is a standard Chrome requirement for extensions that interact with Shopify themes across different store pages. The extension is not designed to collect personal browsing data, payment information, or sensitive customer information. I just started using Amote. It is a very good cart upsell app with all features needed for great customer experience. The pricing being free currently is the added advantage. The technical team is very prompt in replying and resolving any queries or issues.
idea is good but to use this app needs chrome ext, so for me its useless

Useless app nothing was working! Cannot deserve 1 star as well. Nothing is happening! Tried changing the sliding cart. Still remains same.
