It really sucks that there's no way to add custom styles to the buttons other than change colours. Stuff like font, font size, button size and border radius are pretty basic requirements. Very SLOW too.

The fact you can't customize the button with this widget is a complete disaster. Get your act together and do the work. HINT TO SHOPIFY: If you fix this, more people will be using the buy button, which means more revenue for them, which means more revenue FOR YOU! No brainer. Use your brains.

C'mon shopify, how about you help us sell more for you and make this button customizable. Do your customers need to beg for BASIC features?

This should be an embarrassment to even offer. How dare they even release this to the public. No customization features, lack luster and completely useless. This is an EMBARRASSMENT to place on a website and this is made by an Ecommerce website? Really? This is the best they could do? Good Grief! Take this App down!

Because 0-star is not available. You would think that a Buy Button is the main feature of a shopping and should at least be working properly and be adjustable.

Good idea, but doesnt quite work. Once you actually get the button working it doesnt link to the product on the site and wants to go straight to checkout, which isnt ideal for any customer.

Does not embed product description, and breaks the Wordpress page builder plugin. Very poor.

If you have multiple product variants, it lumps them all into a single dropdown, which makes choosing the correct combination very frustrating for the user. Why can't it just provide the same interface as on a regular product page?

OK this really makes me angry. They literally made it so this doesn't work. Shopify did this on purpose. I may just close down my store now. Shopify has made my life more difficult and I have to wonder what use they are now? Basically they made some sort of back door deal with wordpress.com. Now it only works with there site with the embed store feature. So Now instead of me being able to manage all my orders from shopify I am going to have to setup each site as a separate store. YES alot of work on my part and goodbye shopify you just lost a customer.

It appears Shopify wants to keep its customers away from Wordpress. Hmmm... they might just get their wish (but in reverse) if they don't fix this plugin. Shopify is NOT Wordpress and the rate the development is going it never will be. Please stop crippling Shopify if you want your platform to survive in the long term.

Used to work great, now doesn't work at all. I'm adding a button that is supposed to add the product to your cart on my Wordpress.org blog. When you click the button it goes to the cart but with no product added. :/

Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Recently it stopped completely for no discernible reason and Shopify support had no clue as to how to help. It's also worth noting that the overnight transition from old buy button to new buy button was not a nice thing to do. People rely on this thing to work and you shouldn't just change it without warning. The old buy button worked perfectly.

Simple. No more embed storefront, no more Shopify. I'm moving to Ecwid so I can embed a product or a category or the entire store. This was possibly the dumbest mistake an ecommerce provider could make. The idea is that you add functionality, not decrease it. For the yearly price I pay I would have expected more.

Not even loading. Looking at the reviews, it seems like this is a crippled choices (take note developers)!!

I have come across so many issues with the new implementation of the buy button. I've been back and forth with support, requesting a simple answer as to how I can make the button direct to the checkout page in the SAME tab / window, rather than opening a new window over the page, and my point has been completely misunderstood, and I'm left with a bad UX now. For reference, here's a video recording I did of the issue. Pretty easy to understand I think, but still can't solve a simple issue: https://www.screenmailer.com/v/Dy03dCwJxuagByM

This is pretty much obsolete now that we can't embed the whole store. Please bring it back!!
