I have tried other image compression apps. I personally think this is by far the best. Simply because it has lossy compression. I just wanted the highest compression available (lossy) - the smallest file size. What exactly happen was that over 2000+ images on my site were already compressed by another app and even by myself using ImageOptim, so I wouldn't expect using crush.pics will make any changes. Surprisingly, it was able to further compression a nice 30% on average more. I am so glad I got this app. Thanks guys!

Outstanding app - the automated Alt Tag batching is epic. The thought of re-photoshopping all our store images gave me nightmares, making Crush.pics a dream come true.

Page speed is very important to us with both SEO and PPC factoring it into the equation. If we have a slow site we suffer. Crush.pics helps to solve this for us without having to ever worry about our images. Just set and forget.

using the free edition which has a limit per month so if you're installing this on an existing site with many images it may take a couple months to compress all your product images. it does work, images are compressed and run automatically thanks

*Brilliant customer service - Fast response time. *A fraction of the price compared to the pay per images compression apps *Crushes not only your product photos but your site ones too :) *Plus I boosted my SEO with images names/alt tags 2200+ photos Crushed in 1 1/2hrs. I opted for Micro Plan - Loosy – Manuel – then switch over to Batch after I saw absolutely no loss in my product image quality – click – sat back and watched. (Careful this can be mesmerizing). Saved space 41% - Thanks so much! Off to check out your other apps!

The app runs as smooth as silk, clear as a bell, clean as a whistle! What it did and is doing for me is invaluable. I used the google page speedtest before and after crushing my image. It made a huge difference - from 67/100 on mobile and desktop to 84/100 on mobile and 91/100 desktop. I crushed all my images to lossless and didn't lose anything visually. A good app at a good price.

It's very easy to use, lets you test out lossy compression on a few images at a time before doing your entire website, and after compression you can click "Details" to do easy comparison of original and new version with a slider you move across the image. What's nicest is that the compressed images often look better by removing some kind of honeycomb noise you sometimes get in images. I haven't noticed detrimental effect on images due to lossy compression except on some objects such as rugs with thick piles and complicated frosted glass. Fine wood details don't seem perceptibly degraded. My only suggestion on improving this is to allow us to choose desired maximum kb size threshold. Some of the images I uploaded were a few mb, but maybe it is my bad for not compressing it before uploading originally, but it would be cool if this app could compress 500kb-5mb images to something like 100-300kb images if you asked it to.
