QD (Quantity Breaks/Discounts)
The reviews for this Shopify app are quite mixed. On the positive side, many users praise the app for its functionality in providing quantity breaks and discounts, as well as the excellent customer support they received. Users appreciate the ease of use and the quick setup process. However, there are several negative aspects highlighted in the reviews. Some users experienced issues with discounts not showing up, freezing when duplicating discounts, and malfunctioning during checkout. Support responsiveness was also a common complaint, with some users mentioning slow or no response to their inquiries. Additionally, there were instances where the app caused theme issues on the users' online stores, leading to frustration and the need to uninstall the app.
The discounts aren't showing up. I tried going to support using the link the app provided (saying to contact support before uninstall), but it doesn't go anywhere. Also, if I duplicate a discount, it freezes constantly, and I have to create the promotion from scratch.
Do not get this app, i got it to try it out and it made me approve billing and it dose not work and i have not been able to change or cancel the billing. DOSE NOT WORK !!!
After sending 2 support requests which were ignored after the app stopped working last week I would not recommend this app at all. It did work prior to Shopify implementing the new One Page Checkout, but now it will show the discounted quantity break price in the customers cart, but it all gets removed during checkout, resulting in the need to refund customers after placing an order.
After an initial flurry to customise the app for our store, which seemed helpful (which is why this review is 2 starts not 1), customer support became ridiculously slow, and actually caused us to lose sales. The app caused a malfunction in cart - showing cart empty. QD did not announce when they were working on the site which adversely affected our customers, too. We have had no response over a week after telling them about the malfunction so have now have deleted the app.
We sincerely apologize for the misuderstanding. Our application does not make changes to the code and could not cause such issues with the cart. We appreciate you letting us know about your negative experience. We strive to ensure every customer is satisfied with our business, and we apologize for any way in which we may have inconvenienced you.
I have used this app for a while now and it seems like the discount isn't applied more often than it is applied leading to frustrated customers. Sorry that I cannot recommend.
