Wow! Discounty has been great for my Shopify! I needed help getting my discounts set up and couldn’t figure it out myself, and Pearl was the agent who helped me. She was SOOO helpful and I can’t thank her enough! She got everything set up and working quickly, walked me through everything, and even checked back in afterward to make sure everything was still going smoothly. The discounts have been working wonderfully, and I’m so excited to continue using Discounty! Pearl was absolutely amazing and made the whole process so easy for me. I highly recommend getting Discounty!

We use Discounty to run bulk discounts and sales on our Shopify store, and it does exactly what it promises without any fuss. A COMPLETELY USELESS APP! It is honestly hard to understand how this app has received so many 5-star reviews. For anyone considering installing Discounty, I’m sharing my actual conversation with their support team below. My message to Sarah: Hi Sarah! I created a 25% off Bulk Price Editor campaign for my entire store. The campaign shows as Active and says 207 discounted variants, but the discounted prices are not showing on my storefront. The product pages still display the original prices. Could you please check why the price changes haven't been applied? You ask “Sarah” a question, and “Harry” answers. :) Harry: Hi Hasan, This is Harry here from the team. I hope you are doing well. I'm glad you reached out to us. Thank you very much for sharing this. May I ask if you’re using fixed prices for your market? I’m asking because fixed prices are hardcoded in Shopify, and will override the discounts. :) Great answer, Harry! Apparently, even Harry doesn’t seem to understand what this app is supposed to do. :) My response: Hi Harry, Yes, I am using fixed prices for my market. However, I don't understand why this should prevent Discounty from doing what I subscribed to it for. I subscribed to Discounty specifically to apply a 25% price reduction to my existing store prices. Your system allowed me to create the campaign, shows it as Active, and currently reports 207 active discounted variants — yet the prices customers see on my storefront have not changed at all. I don't want to manually change hundreds of product prices. That is exactly why I subscribed to a bulk price editor. Please tell me how Discounty can apply the 25% reduction to my existing fixed prices, or what exact setting needs to be changed for this to work. So, before replying to “Harry” — or was it “Sarah”? — perhaps you should wait for Meloni to answer first. :)
This one is on us, and we’re sorry. You were right on both counts: the app showed the campaign as active even though nothing had changed on your storefront for those markets, and the answer we gave never solved what you actually needed: a 25% discount in a market that uses fixed prices. At the moment, we don’t support that use case, and we appreciate you taking the time to explain the issue so clearly. Your feedback made it clear that we need to improve this part of the user experience. We emailed you on Friday and are following up with more details, along with a way to apply your 25% discount in bulk through Shopify. We’d really like to make this right and improve your experience with Discounty.
