Country Blocker Fraud Securify
All reviews
Instead of blocking visitors from countries we're considering expanding to, I wanted to survey them. Support helped me set up conditional redirects to a Google Form for five specific countries. Now we're collecting market research from the exact people we'd eventually sell to. Creative use of the redirect feature I wouldn't have considered.
Shopify's mobile app was letting blocked-country visitors browse our store. Support explained the app has its own traffic path that geo-blocking can't intercept — it's a Shopify platform limitation. They helped me add address validation at checkout as a secondary filter. Honest about what the app can and can't control
Our downloadable products needed extra protection beyond the standard content guard. Support configured enhanced protection for the /digital-downloads/* path, including both right-click blocking and direct URL protection. Someone trying to share a download link now gets a 403. Exactly the layered security our digital products needed.
Bot traffic from Eastern Europe was completely wrecking our analytics data. Support showed me the automated traffic filter that I didn't even know existed in the advanced settings. Enabled it and our analytics cleaned up within a couple of days. Now I can actually trust the numbers I'm looking at when making ad spend decisions.
Support was Honest with me when I asked about developer tools bypassing the right-click protection. They explained it stops casual copying but can't stop someone determined enough to use dev tools no App can. I appreciated the honesty. They suggested watermarking as a second layer, which I hadn't considered. The protection still catches 95% of the image theft attempts we were seeing.
Mobile site seemed slower than desktop after enabling protection. Support investigated and found the mobile protection script was loading an unnecessary font file. They removed it from our configuration and mobile performance improved. The kind of detail that shows they actually tested on mobile, not just desktop.
Migrating from another geo-blocking app and needed to replicate rules. Support helped me export my old app's settings and imported them into Securify through a CSV upload. All 47 country rules transferred correctly. The migration took about ten minutes instead of the hour I'd budgeted.
I accidentally locked out our German wholesale buyer after enabling geo-blocking. Panicked and messaged support. They responded within the hour, told me exactly where to add the whitelist entry, and even confirmed the IP I gave them resolved to the right location. My Buyer was back in by lunch. Could've been a real problem without that quick turnaround.
We only Sell domestically so I needed to block everything except three countries. I was dreading adding 190+ countries one by one, but Support pointed me to the bulk rule builder. Selected all, then unchecked the three I needed, and saved. Done in under a minute. Wouldn't have found that option on my own it's in a dropdown I didn't think to click.
Someone cloned our entire product catalog overnight — descriptions, images, everything showed up on a dropshipping site. After installing Securify, support helped me enable not just right-click protection but also the bot detection layer that blocks automated scraping tools. They were transparent that nothing stops a truly determined person, but the automated stuff is handled.
Had VPN-related chargebacks eating into our margins. Asked Support about VPN detection and they walked me through the proxy blocking settings I hadn't noticed. Set it up in five minutes, and within Two weeks the suspicious orders from vpn addresses stopped completely. The feature was already there i just needed someone to show me whereS
I have a remote team member in Ukraine who needs admin access but I'd blocked the entire region for shipping compliance. Support set up a personal access link for her — a unique URL that bypasses the geo-block for her IP only. She logs in through that link and works normally. Everyone else in the region sees the block. Elegant solution I wouldn't have thought of.
great app great costumer care
I had a customer complain that someone in another country was reselling our handmade candles using photos lifted straight from our site. I didn't even know right-click protection was a thing until I found Securify. Turned it on, and the next week that reseller's listing had generic stock photos instead. Small thing, big relief.
Honestly I installed this mostly out of curiosity after reading about geo-blocking. What sold me was the support experience during setup — I asked a basic question about whitelisting my own IP so I wouldn't lock myself out, and the person who replied actually tested it on their end before answering. That kind of effort is rare.

The thing that surprised me most wasn't the blocking — it was the visitor log. I had no idea how much traffic we were getting from regions we don't even ship to. Seeing that data changed how I think about our ad spend. Support walked me through the log filters when I couldn't figure out the date range selector.
They resolve my issues very quickly—excellent service.
