★★★★☆ Rocky start, but the team fixed everything and made it right I'll be honest about the full experience. The app went live on my store with several bugs over a few days: the pre-order button reverted to "Add to cart" on variant change, discounts didn't show, translations failed, fonts were off, and at one point prices disappeared entirely on multi-variant products — which briefly cost me sales during an active campaign. In the early going, each fix tended to surface a new issue, which was frustrating. That said, the support team did not give up. They worked through every single problem with me, and in the end all of it was resolved: prices now display correctly on variant products, the collection-card discount matches the pre-order state, fonts are consistent, and translations work. They also offered me their Founder plan as compensation for the time it took. So: a bumpy start, but a team that genuinely sees things through and stands behind their product. If these issues had been caught before release it would be a clean 5 stars — but given how seriously and persistently they handled it, I'm comfortable recommending the app. My one tip: pilot it on a single product first, especially if you sell multi-variant items.

Looks nice on the site, i found it a little tricky to set up - but im certainly no tech wizard. Matas replied quickly and answered my questions directly. Fingers crossed the app performs well.

Works great on Shopify not well with 3rd party platforms

Essentials is essential to my business. As a small store with limited space, I can’t carry a large inventory, so their service is crucial. Essentials supports my pre-orders and helps me better understand what my customers want. However, I do wish we are able to do partial payments for those who can't access Shopify Payments depending on what part of the world they are in.

Love this tool. Get ready to get a TON of customer service support of people hoping to get their product soon. Shipment delays = Customer Service flooded Shipment delays = Chargebacks Just be ready for those complaints and chargebacks, and you'll be fine!

App is clear and easy to use

The app works really well for taking Pre-Orders and was critical to getting the functionality I needed. The tech support is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. The only reason this is a 4 star review instead of 5 is that there are a few areas that I would like a little more control (pre-order eta dates, customizable tags for order status, more email customization options) but other than that, I am please with the app and support so far.

Easy to set up and good response time from support.They only issue is you can;t set up the limit, you have to load them manually which is a pain.

I got very good customer service from Matas, who were very quick at solving the issue I had.

Simple to use

Nice easy and functional app for pre-orders, most user friendly to set up. I am just wondering if it is possible to add badges or labels to the product and collection pages showing it is a pre-order product. However the contact support buttons are not working so cannot reach support.

it has worked well so far sometimes when stock is updated its does sometime take sometime to change back from the Pre-order button but it has generally been useful and allowed me to still make sells and manage my new stock its generally very helpful and I've used other software that are just nowhere near as easy accessible as this application or work aswell.

Easy to set up and works great for me. Solved the split payment issue I was struggling with for some time. Continue your good work to offer more solutions.

So far this app works great. I only gave it 4stars rating because I'm yet to try all the features. Will see how it goes.
