It's not working. I asked for assistance but they were not able to fix it.
Hi Marco, Darrel here from Nova Apps. I've read your recent app store review and I sincerely apologize if the app didn't work on your store. Unfortunately, we have run into some instances of incompatibility between our app and your theme. We are working to address these issues and provide a full and permanent solution so that any user can enjoy this app for free! However, since there are hundreds of themes out there, a permanent solution may take time. In the meantime, we will continue to look into this to determine what may be causing this issue. Rest assured, that even though this is a free app, we don't take it for granted. We also sent you an email regarding the issue. If you have any other questions, please just let me know. *STOP* Don't waste your time. This app is free, but is NOT Google GCM V2 compliant. So using it doesx not help you ANYTHING here in the EU. If you need a GDPR cookie consent tool - this is the one to skip and not consider sinceit's useless. Best regards, Agnes

However, it seems that there might be a misunderstanding regarding our app's compliance with Google Consent Mode (GCM V2) based on your previous interaction with our chat support. I want to clarify that our app is indeed compliant with Google Consent Mode (GCM V2). However, we were simply trying to explain that it's important to note that using our app alone does not automatically ensure full compliance with GDPR as there certain guidelines that you need to follow and fulfill on your own such as having the right settings in Shopify and crafting/displaying your own privacy and GDPR policy pages. Works perfectly on the mobile but the button 'got it' isn't selectable when using a PC or a Mac. As it's a free app, the reply I received was that no help could be provided.

Had to uninstall as is requesting an endpoint that requires a commercial licence. Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 () cookie_consent.js?13:1 The service[0] (//json.geoiplookup.io) responded with the following error Error: Error [UNKNOWN]: Commerical use detected. Contact administrator at [email protected]. at s (cookie_consent.js?13:1) at Object.callback (cookie_consent.js?13:1) at i.runServiceCallback (cookie_consent.js?13:1) at cookie_consent.js?13:1 at XMLHttpRequest.s.onreadystatechange (cookie_consent.js?13:1)

It doesn't work. Impossible to finish the download.. This was recommended on youtube by a nice blogger. I Don't understand the bug!

Company refuses to provide support. I have checked the option "Show banner just for EU countries" but we are still seeing the banner in the US on multiple computers and devices. That option is clearly not working. Response I got requesting support - "with over 100,000 users of our free apps we can only provide help documentation support" So app doesn't work as advertised and company refuses to provide support. Would give zero stars if I could.

Chargement bloqué à 66 % même après avoir mit un avis. La barre s'affichait les premiers jours et depuis plus rien. Dommage. De plus, pas de service client si nous sommes pas acheteur.

Funktioniert gar noch nicht, muss eine Bewertung abgeben bevor es fertig installiert ist, sonst lässt es sich gar nicht installieren....

The app seems fine, except for the fact that is not working. I`ve filled in all the info, switched on both buttons, refreshed many times: no Cookie Bar on my website...

Worked well for a while but today our site has crashed with significant loss of sales. Shopify support recommended an uninstall due to known issues with this app. Until it is fixed I would avoid :(

This plugin broke our site. Caused all product pages to freeze and we had no sales for 2 hours. Thanks to this POS free app. Thanks guys!

Installation was stuck at 33% for over 24 hours. Their help documents say that it doesn't need to show 100%, but I couldn't get the banner to show up on my site. I tried installing it again with the same result. Other reviewers mentioned that email support is only available for paid apps, so as this is a free app, there doesn't seem to be any point to contact the developer.

On desktop browsers, the bar does not disappear when you click to dismiss it. On mobile it works fine. I would have given it three stars since it works on mobile, but the complete lack of customer support bumps this down to one star. Furthermore, this issue is not addressed in any of their documentation. If you have a problem with this app, you're completely on your own. I contacted the app developer and received the following auto-response: "Hi there, Thanks for the email! Unfortunately this is an auto-reply as the app only comes with help site support :( As a business yourselves, I hope you understand that with over 100,000 users of our free apps we can only provide email support for paid customers. Please check out our Help Center for answers to our most frequently asked questions. Thanks again, The Booster Apps Team"
