This app is great! It does exactly what I need with VAT displaying for my retail and wholesale customers. Thorsten is very good with support and prompt with any help needed. He made changes to my theme code as I have a custom theme. Very happy :-)

Great App, very simple and a good solution to VAT issues that Shopify should by now have sorted for companies trading in Europe. Easy to install even for someone with little coding expertise. I contacted the developper for some help as we wanted a small change and they got back to us within 24 hours, discussed what we needed and changed the code for us. Really can't fault their customer service.

I did the installation myself with no knowledge of coding, it was rather easy. If you have no clue or are afraid, you can ask them to do it for you. It is very important for me to display both VAT and non VAT prices in my shop and this does it excellently. It will most likely cause you some problem with currency conversion, but you can ask them kindly to make an auto-refresh when you change currency in your shop and it works like a charm. The staff was very helpful and responsive. Worth the investment for sure.

Applied for a demo, installed it but it did not work for me. In particular when wholesale customers were logged in. So I mailed the developer to see if there were known issues with wholesale apps. The reply was very rude and basicly said the app was perfect so it could not be. No effort at all into searching what it could be. It might be a good app if it works, but not paying for a customer service like that.

This app works just fine and exactly for the purposes described. You have to be careful though if you are handling products with different VATs inside one country (eg. VAT in Germany: 19% normal; 7% deducted) which does not work with that app solution....

When we first decided to move our web site to a hosted service we put Shopify at the top of the list but then had to strike it off due the fact that it couldn't handle the EU requirements for VAT. Exemptify changed that and made it possible again. Exemptify handles B2C and B2B VAT both for EU and non-EU customers, Support has been absolutely brilliant, with Thorsten fixing our theme to display the price properly within a couple of hours of us asking. I honestly have never received such amazing support.

I installed this app after changing shopify theme and no longer having custom VAT coding in the new theme. I only use the pricing display portion of the app, and after a few hiccups Thorsten has got it to work seamlessly with my new theme. He went above and beyond it making sure any glitches were completely ironed out, and also transferred the coding over without hesitation when the theme developer released an updated version (only a day after install). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, the app itself is great, but what sets it apart from other similar solutions is the willingness of the developer to help you make it work properly. www.snufflebeanyarn.co.uk

I used Exemptify to help me display prices on my e-shop with VAT included as most of the customers come from EU but still be able to exclude VAT for the ones coming from non-EU countries. I was absolutely amazed by the help of Thorsten from Exemptify who went beyond a standard customer service and helped me to fix all needed settings to make everything work the way I needed. We exchanged a large number of emails during one evening and all was quickly done. I would definitely recommend the app not only due to the very good functionality but also due to this nice consumer experience! Thanks a lot again!

Exemptify is a great app. It has great features such as geolocation to detect EU and non-EU customers and display relevant price. Support is very dynamic and professional. I strongly recommend!

I just enable Exemptify in my www.imperfectsmile.com webstore, for selling easily both in Europe and United States, where different rules about VAT and other taxes apply. It would have been impossible to manage these differences without the help of an app as Exemptify. What's more, I needed some special intervention on my theme and the service was surprisingly quick! I suggest Exemptify to everyone who needs to deal with different taxes in different countries.

EDIT 30/05/2018: Developer has changed the text with our prices, which now means the text is all squashed. Waiting for a reply from them to fix this back to how it was.... The two prices (inc & ex VAT) flashes up then disappears, so doesn't work for us. Shame as we only wanted it to show both prices, not for all the VAT ID features. Price text on collections if far too big too and overlaps so looks awful on our site Had to uninstall after no-one on live chat and no response to email :(

I've just set this up, with Thorsten's help on one aspect I was struggling with to do with the comma vs dot question as the decimal point. Actually it is explained in the "documentation" section but I hadn't spotted it. The app seems to do exactly what I wanted and Thorsten replied to me within a very short time, thanks!
