I am frustrated with submitting all the government documents to Facebook for verifying my store, but the papers have not been accepted. I don't provide these documents to my own or to Facebook's requirements; it is the government of Canada that I am frustrated with the process of submitting all the required government documents to Facebook to verify my store, but my submissions have not been accepted. The documents I provide are issued by the government of Canada for individuals applying for these services, not by my standards or Facebook's. As a result, my store is currently disabled, and I am feeling confused about the situation. It provides its documents to those applying for these services. My store is disabled. I'm confused.
the intergration takes way to long and you have to verify so much informaiton when everything fb needs is in shopify.
It is not working! I am not able to update my catalog?
It is very hard to navigate facebook and shopify. There's not clear instructions. As a boutique owner I want everything to go thru shopify. I'm unsure of which emails from facebook are spam or are legit.
Keeps telling me my shop is suspended because of lack of information however does not provide any information about what information to provide or where to provide it.
At first glance it's good, it promises to make it work. But it really underdelivers. You still have to do many things in the meta account, which is terrible, I mean astoundingly terrible. I am new to this but I'm a developer and I still don't understand anything on it. Not shopify's fault, but I really thought the facebook and instagram app would handle all of this nonsense for me. It doesn't. Now I have a semi-connection and I don't know what to do to make it work, neither what it is supposed to do if it can't do that, great.
FB didn't integrate well. Shop was immediately restricted.
trying to integrate the stric BS rules of Meta to sell your items is crazy. Using stock photos from the distributor of a bikini gets flagged as a violation of there sexual policy. Yet if you "SPONSOR" a meta ad. It gets approved. Look at Playboy or victoria secret.
had so much problems connecting the 2 platforms, ended up calling both Meta and Shopify. Just had to uninstall and install the FB app on Shopify to make it work. but was a real headache at first.
me han pedido verificarmi negocio he subido los documentos varias veces y lo vuelven a pedir.
The app has a bug that doesn't allow me to verify my business even though the store is already live and approved. After submitting my biz info, a verification code lands in my email but the screen never changes for me to type in that code.
Connecting to my store to my facebook and instagram has been an impossible task! I have done it over a dozen times providing all they ask. Review for two days and sometimes it goes live, sometimes denied. Either way I get a store suspended after using either method. No explanation, except an inaccurate one.
This sales channel needs to integrate better with Shopify checkout options or apps. When they switched to prevent linking out to shopify for checkout, they also decreased sales for stores like mine since the Meta checkout lacks certain features. I can't distinguish between delivery and shipping, or most importantly, there is no date picker to pick shipping dates (which is essential to my type of business). This would be super easy to do (I can code my own date picker with little coding knowledge), yet is not implemented for some reason. Also, the shipping settings in the app don't show correct rates (if you have live rates), items, etc, so you always have to check the store in the Instagram app to make sure it's working correctly. There needs to be a better way to do this.
