Fomo: Social Proof Sales Popup

FOMO is a great app! It was easy to set up and was up in running within minutes. It is customizable to your stores colors and style/theme. So far we have had ZERO problems with this app. We receive multiple clicks on their pop up notifications every day. We believe this app plays a big role in growing our E-commerce store. If you dont have this app then you are 'Missing Out'!

We've definitely seen the benefits of having the Fomo widget showing social proof on our site. We get a ton of feedback from customers stating that they love seeing the slideout messages showing other purchases and reviews. At PNWJourney.com, we love it because it's super easy to work with and very flexible. We're able to have not only purchases and reviews, but newsletter signups, contest winner announcements, and basically any custom event we can think of. We highly recommend Fomo.

While you probably could go cheap and get a similar app for a smaller fee, the FOMO app is 100% the best in its category. The integrations and the reports alone worth the time and money and with so many options to optimise the App it's one of the must-have app's to drive further conversations on your Shopify store.

I've had Fomo installed for more than a year now. I still can't confirm that it's a must have or not. I feel like a victim of the FOMO if I'm not using FOMO. So I keep it installed. If I look at the stats I get on the Fomo Dashboard: 200 000 views - 3 sales from those views. Not really efficient at converting people into customers. But I know that I can use Fomo in sync with Shoelace and retarget visitors on Facebook. I think it's the only reason I keep it.

The app used to be amazing. I am pissed off that something has been going wrong with it for most likely several weeks and I didn't notice until this past weekend. I couldn't get notifications on any of my devices or any of my desktop PC's. The first ticket I opened was responded to quickly and I was told there was multiple lines of code that shouldn't be on my site, and that I needed to remove the code to get it working again properly. The second ticket told me that everything was working right, but then I saw they changed my settings to show events immediately upon going to the site, and only showed 1 event, and didn't show any further after that. I tried several times to explain to them what was going on and they were not listening to what I was trying to communicate. It's a shame, but time for me to move on to the other app that's free and has 8000+ positive reviews.

Used this app for about 2 months. It does what it says it does (shows a popup to tell your website visitors who bought what on the website recently). However, and this is kind of a big problem - we saw very little conversions to actual sales. I understand that tracking FOMO App-driven conversions might be a little tough, but according to the Google Analytics tracking we installed in the app, it showed over 14,000 notifications during the time we had it running, which converted to a grand total of 1 (one!) sale. The click rate was around 0.5% and the conversion to sale rate was negligibly small (1/14,000). Now I'd be willing to give it a little more time (although we did just have the busiest 2 months of the year, so it should have done really great already), but it's $30/month! That's pretty expensive for an app that doesn't seem to trackably increase sales... Just my two cents...

I am enjoying getting to know how this app works and have found the team at Fomo incredibly helpful in getting things setup the way I want them. I think it really helps convert people to see that other people are buying and signing up for our information, Love the app

I installed this app twice. No training comes up. Dashboard is not easy to use. I dont know what is special about this app. I have the same main feature running on my website for free; many apps for free do this. I was only installing because of a shoelace integrations. I will save the $29 unless I learn why should I pay over getting the same features for free.

I've just subscribed to the free trial and started to love this app. These guys are making the app that could create the genuine experience. We ran A/B testing with and without Fomo for a couple of weeks, and found we had more page views and a much better conversion rate without Fomo.

Run, don't walk to install this app! Fomo is awesome. I can almost guarantee it'll increase your conversion rate and keep your users engaged. Fomo was the original and lots of people tried to copy it. I tried a few out to see what was best. I came back to Fomo right away. The app is built much better and the support is terrific.

Tried several less expensive options and they looked - less expensive. When you're ready to polish the look and feel of your shop, swap out a knock-off for FOMO

Judge.me reviews do not work with Pro version, took a star off for this. Curious to see how conversions are really affected by this app, so trying pro version with conversion tracking. Will update my review after a week.
