Works great right out of the box and the liquid update for site code was FREE and fast! Makes the free gift and add on experience much smoother for the customer. Updating this review - Installed a new theme and the free gifts team added the required liquid code to my new theme for free and in a very timely manner. Support here is great and the product works well.

We had a promotion where there was a minimum spend on a particular collection/category and a FREE product was given. I trialled about 8 different apps and not one could do what I needed it to. I contacted Secomapp App with my issue and they actioned this for me within 2 hours. AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING SERVICE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP!

After the update the app is much easier to use. There are still issues sometimes- we've had issues with products being available after the offer expires and a few other things, but tech support (shoutout to Mina) is usually pretty quick and gets issues resolved.

I can't think of a negative thing to say about the app. The support is awesome and very responsive. Our shop uses 3 different apps from Secomapp, and all have always worked without problems. The install is free, and very minimal alteration to your theme. Secomapp will take care of it all and even set up examples (who else does that?!) Given the functionality of the Free Gifts App, it providse something Shopify alone can't offer. I have a hard time understanding any negative reviews. Great support and most importantly, great functionality that is easy to use. It doesn't get much better than that. After installing and uninstalling dozens of different apps to increase sales, I can't say enough great things about 2 companies -- Bold Apps and Secomapp. The combination of the app offerings from both companies is top notch. I am a loyal customer of both, and see the value in the relative monthly fees given the amount of increased sales.

First the positive , It works after a bit of fiddling and trial and error. Now the less positive, the install is messy as you need to let them do it really and they make loads of changes to the theme which frightens me. Support is slow too taking about 20 hours for a response for me on a question. Finally and most importantly it is ridiculously priced. I have to pay $40 / month for this app. No idea how they can justify the price as I don't see where the ongoing cost is to justify the exorbitant prices. I have great apps like Yo for $6 and Also Brought for $5 and Live Search for $4 all great useful apps. How this app can cost $40 is beyond me. Luckily alternatives are appearing which will normalise this quickly I'd say.

After installing they had our site updated and ready to go within the day. The app works very well and the staff is friendly and efficient. We aren't currently using the app but is worked how it is described. Definitely the best free gift app around. Also works with ajax as well as the standard shopify add-to-cart forms

Downloaded the app yesterday and emailed support to install update. It was done very quickly. Brian even created 2 example rules in our store! Excellent service! We can't wait to give this app a test drive.

Secomapp's Free Gifts app is a fantastic concept with almost perfect execution. I've been using their app for well over a year now and have seen it evolve. The team is always responsive when it comes to customer service. The app is very flexible and allows for a lot of creativity with promotions. My only 2 gripes are when a customer meets the criteria for a free gift, it can sometimes take a few extra seconds for the gifts to load in the shopping cart, which, from a UX standpoint results in the occasional customer complaint. Also, if I'm offering free gifts on two separate products, it gets confusing as to what the customer is getting and why. All in all, I'm happy!

Really useful app for my needs - I wanted to do a "spend $.." and received a free gift. The support is great and the guys integrate the app for you and are ready to answer any queries you may have. Highly recommended

DOES NOT WORK! App would freeze up whenever we tried to edit settings and support was promotd but not helpful in resolving this.
