Secomapp's support team are the most helpful and fantastic team! They responded to all our queries promptly and assisted us through all the steps of set up. The best part is we are now using the Free Gift app on both our stores and it works perfectly and is very easy to use! I would highly recommend the Free Gift app to anyone!

The app is the only one that allows you to have full control on the display of the free gifts on product pages and seamlessly add to basket dependent on whatever conditions of purchase you set. Support and modification since to tweak the app has been quick, professional and successful. Recommend!

Update (11/11/20): the developers have been so helpful! we recently installed a slide-cart app that didn't initially "play nice" with this app, but the developers worked together to get them to integrate! So impressed with their service!

This is a great app. I really like how it works on our website - doesn't detract from shopping and makes the free gift very obvious. The user never has to question what they're getting. The tech support has been very helpful as well. We used over Cyber Monday and again for a promotion this January. Will definitely use again in the future! Update April, 2019 - We keep on coming back to this app. It works seamlessly - user does not need to use promo code. Just set up your conditions and the free gift shows up in the cart. Great app!

Works okay, kind of limited features and you need their tech support to help adjust the settings for things that should be built in and easy to adjust. However it might be the best current app of it's kind...

The developers have been terrible. They pulled my most important item from my site and were completely incapable of getting this app to function properly on my website. They spent over a week leading me on that they could fix this and my item is still not on my site. Be careful with them. you never know what you will get and giving them access to your site opens you up to their mistakes.

I signed up for a free trial, and tried a small gift with purchase promotion. The app stopped working after a few hours of my sending out an email campaign, coincidentally, after installing the app, we received several phone calls that our website was not working, and when I contacted support, there was no response. Needless to say, we deleted the app and will not be continuing.

The app is really good, and does everything we need for our store. But the best is the support. The support team helped us install the app correctly, and they've responded quickly to every question and request we've had. I only wished that there was a way not to accumulate gifts and discounts codes, but apparently Shopify doesn't let third party apps manage the discount codes... Other that that, it's perfect!

We had a promotion where there was a minimum spend on a particular collection/category and a FREE product was given. I trialled about 8 different apps and not one could do what I needed it to. I contacted Secomapp App with my issue and they actioned this for me within 2 hours. AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING SERVICE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP!

After the update the app is much easier to use. There are still issues sometimes- we've had issues with products being available after the offer expires and a few other things, but tech support (shoutout to Mina) is usually pretty quick and gets issues resolved.

I can't think of a negative thing to say about the app. The support is awesome and very responsive. Our shop uses 3 different apps from Secomapp, and all have always worked without problems. The install is free, and very minimal alteration to your theme. Secomapp will take care of it all and even set up examples (who else does that?!) Given the functionality of the Free Gifts App, it providse something Shopify alone can't offer. I have a hard time understanding any negative reviews. Great support and most importantly, great functionality that is easy to use. It doesn't get much better than that. After installing and uninstalling dozens of different apps to increase sales, I can't say enough great things about 2 companies -- Bold Apps and Secomapp. The combination of the app offerings from both companies is top notch. I am a loyal customer of both, and see the value in the relative monthly fees given the amount of increased sales.

First the positive , It works after a bit of fiddling and trial and error. Now the less positive, the install is messy as you need to let them do it really and they make loads of changes to the theme which frightens me. Support is slow too taking about 20 hours for a response for me on a question. Finally and most importantly it is ridiculously priced. I have to pay $40 / month for this app. No idea how they can justify the price as I don't see where the ongoing cost is to justify the exorbitant prices. I have great apps like Yo for $6 and Also Brought for $5 and Live Search for $4 all great useful apps. How this app can cost $40 is beyond me. Luckily alternatives are appearing which will normalise this quickly I'd say.
