Hi I will improve the star rating once I get some help! I have the refund and terms of service policies linked from the footer nav, but the app is saying I still need to have this done. I'm not sure what else I can do. This is for herdandgrace.com. Merchant Center options are all grayed out until this is resolved. RESOLVED - GREAT APP, great customer service
Hi, thanks for your feedback. The best way to get support is through the Get Support link within the app. In the meantime, Onboarding with the Google & YouTube App requires your Shopify Store to have the sections within Settings > Policies filled out. I've followed up with you through private email to ensure we can resolve your issue.
PCTechSupply.com uses Google advertising and it has been an absolute excellent integration for free remarketing and dynamic free listings on Google's shopping network. The only downside to this is that it is limited on what you can sell based on Google's policies, however, for most people this is a quick and seamless way to get your items listen and seen. Alles ist von Shopify aus leicht und übersichtlich steuer- oder einsehbar was Google angeht. Die dahinter liegenden Anforderungen und Prüfungen liefert shopify gleich mit und so habe ich im nachhinein gleich festgestellt gibt es sogar die Produkttabelle die Google benötigt um Werbung zu machen. Ein geführtes 2 Tage Training bei Shopify oder von Google bezogen auf Shopify hätte ich mir sehr gewünscht. Die gesamte Shopify - Google Welt ist immens groß und man kommt nicht wirklich voran wenn man dann doch eine Fehlermeldung hat. Der Support ist dann eher mäßig und verweist auf allgemeine Docs mit vielen Seiten und ungenauen Lösungsansätzen. Nichts desto trotz ist die App in Shopify super und die beste Hilfestellung die es gab.
Great app, works as it suppose to and update all products automatically. Would like to suggest to add multiple feed option for international merchants to list items to multiple countries with different currency and URLs, as setup in shoplifty markets.
Seems to be working. I set up things on google side first, and had no issues connecting to it from this app. Will see how it does.
I was contacted that there was a temporary problem that got fixed. I tried it now and it seems to be working just fine. I appreciate they got back to me within 24 hours. --- Old review: Not working. Goes to a grey page that simple says my site Refused to Connect. That doesn't tell me anything.

Hi, Google Channel Team I Have facing a problem. I have done all the steps but in the last step ''Manage target country and language'' have not showing Target country and Target language option in the selection box. please guide me on how to solve this problem.

Google has now expanded their target country options to include more currencies. I'd been scared to install the app with all the negative reviews but figured it couldn't hurt as my primary source of product listing was my site any way so if it didn't work it was no loss. I had already had Google merchant centre pulling via web crawl which was o.k but had errors. So I set this up and it was linked and approved within less than 1/2 hour. Let's see if it's keeps it up but so far it's working as hoped.

Update 5 Aug. Thanks to Shopify's in-house magician Jason, it's now working for the first time ever, and it only took a few straightforward changes. Many thanks Jason! Has anyone ever managed to get an advert running via this incredibly poor app? I've tried countless times but it would honestly be easier landing my car on the moon. Why do you need to link the app, Google Merchant Centre AND Google Ads just to get this to work; which it NEVER does. Any campaign I create just sits on 'pending' FOREVER.

Its a must have app for me, the app works brilliantly in the way it integrates with my Merchant account.
Last year in 2021, I rated this app a 1 star because of all the problems it had caused me just like many others. However, I can now say, a year later, that the problems I was experiencing have been fixed and the app is now working seamlessly.

Just a quick review for Cherry in the Shopify support team who has helped set up our merchant center feed using this app. Cherry has been incredibly patient and helpful, with absolutely superb customer service and kindness. If you run an online shop it's critical you can sell on google so appreciate those struggling with the app will leave bad reviews BUT as anyone knows who runs a shop clients and customers rarely leave reviews for good service but Cherry service was outstanding and I am very grateful for her support.
Edit after Shopify Support contacted me: I changed to 5 stars because the Shopify Support really helped me to fix it. I'm pending in my opinion, if I should give 4 or 5 stars, because such things "happened" while using the app, but I can't say if it's a fault of Google Merchant Center/Search Console or Shopify could give more hints in the App backend, how such things could be solved or a picture by picture story which settings you should enable or disable to prevent issues. But for now it's working good again and 5 stars are good for an app that manages the connection for free and for a support that really helps. Edit: Without a reason the Google Site Crawler starting from February 6th suddenly reads the product price without the added tax value (while the Shopify Google Channel App Feed submits the final product price) of course both values are different which now leads to the "not approved" products in the merchant center...something has to be done from Shopify so that the site crawler catches the customers end price. - Somehow since 2-3 days several products that were listed correct are now not accepted because of "price differences" between feed and site crawling, but the prices mentioned do not exist in our shop. We don't know what's going on and why this price gap happens.

Useful. But limited options. Only promotes my largest most expensive variation with no option to not advertise certain variations. UPDATE: Robyn from shopify support contacted me and was beyond helpful. Gave me detailed instructions on how to exclude variations from the google merchant centre. Thanks so much :)

I like this app. However, I didn't find an answer on how to add different values in "Google Shopping App Purchase" conversion action in Google Ads. Will I need to edit the code on Shopify or can I just add new value in "Enter a default value"? What if it's two different values? Thanks!
