DON'T USE THIS APP. We had to switch from the old app. We thought "we know what we're doing", it's easy enough to link the google ads and merchant center accounts. However, THIS APP WILL FAIL YOU! Went from 3000+ product variants down to 168 for three weeks. Then, it's like pulling teeth to get this working. If you asked me about shopify support I would have had nothing bad to say, but after dealing with this issue the phone wait time it 45min or more, and they WILL NOT let you speak with a tech. Absolutely disappointed with this entire experience. GO WITH A PAID VERSION. You can get a $7/mo app that will do the job and do it right. It's not overly complicated but manually updating the feed is a pain unless you do some automating on your end. Trust me - do not use this app. -Rick

Terrible app, product feeds showing errors even though all relevant fields are filled in correct. No support that I can find & support pages just have going round in circles.

Products show up as pending even though they've been approved in my Merchant Account. There was an error with the initial sync which google fixed at their end. Overall, this doesn't seem to be a very slick app.

all the products expired because the was constantly stuck in pending mode. i wouldnt recommend using this app.

Doesn't work. SHAME ON YOU SHOPIFY FOR WASTING ALL MY TIME! After 2 weeks products still pending. Started campaign that was supposed to be for 7 days only, but still "Running" after 2 weeks. Google ads shows that campaign is "enabled". Took me a few days to correct my site so that ads are all approved by Google, but STILL NO CAMPAIGN RUNNING. What a WASTE OF TIME. After MUCH WASTED MONEY and 22 months later, finally realizing that Shopify is a scam!

This app doesn't work very well. I've allowed this app to sync my products from Shopify to my Google Ads account but for some reason it only shows pending, and when I checked them on my Google Ads account, it says that they've been disapproved and it wants me to modify 600 products that I thought was going to smoothly sync into Google. So what I did was just made all my products unavailable to Google Shopping and will just resort to other ways to market my store and products.

Installing this app is the worst thing one can do to his/her online shop. It is inexcusable that this app is provided by Shopify and there is a complete lack of support in dealing with all the issues created by the app. The only support I received was to be directed to Google support. If you have the "unsupported version" of this app, keep it. To save yourself frustrations and money, do not install the new one.

The worst. Just use Google Merchant Center. Products stuck in pending status for months. It is useful to sync but that's about it.

Well, it's not a totally useless app anyway. But it just mystery unusable sometimes somehow. And when you ask the support, they just told you "It's Google, not us". For me, I know Google didn't do anything for the issue. I can tell.

Same as everybody else, does not work. Mostly pending products and some disproved for no good reason. Would like to see Google offer a better Free App although it looks like paying is the only option to get good application.

Horrible app, no real documentation never got anything to publish correctly. Suprised shopify would release such bad app.

Be very careful if you update to this app, their is not ability to edit fields in the app, particularly " description" , its so clunky and now needs to be driven from product or collection page. The feature to only publish certain collections has been moved out of the app. Shopify are normally so good, but they really have dropped the ball here. This migration will cost you money. I would wait until they fix the bugs. So irritated i'm considering changing to another platform.
Hi Digital3d.com.au, thank you for sharing this feedback. You are correct in saying in editing the google shopping fields from within the app, it will bring you directly to our product page. However you can use the bulk editor option in the Shopify Admin to make mass changes. I’ve also followed up with you by email to log your feedback for our development team and to demonstrate this bulk editor in more detail for you but in summary, you can go to: > Click Products in the Shopify Admin. > Select your products in bulk by clicking the white square beside each product title. > Click the "edit products" button. > In the bulk editor, select the fields you want to modify. All 1,400 products on my site are no longer on Google Shopping after installing this app. All your products will move into a "pending" status. The migration utility for the old app to this is garbage. As far as I can tell I'm not passing the Google checklist as the gift cards don't have vat being charged on them even though they shouldn't have VAT on them and I don't have them listed on Google anyway. Thanks Shopify!! Possibly your worst app ever. UPDATE - We were originally told it would be "3 - 5 day" for Google to approve products. Now we are being told up to 10 days. So unless you are able to deal with 10 days without Google shopping. Don't install this app. UPDATE - Turns out the app will list your products on Google, but the integration to get the publishing notifications back appears to be broken so the app lists all your products as pending. Still a terrible integration though.

Worked great to start with, then I get an email that I cannot reply to, and can ask no-one for help about - saying my landing page currency and google shopping feed don't match (using the words "violated policy" - you know what - you're deleted... you want to take my advertising money, and then send me emails like that not offering clear and simple help - FU Google

For policy violations, that is determined by Google and is outside the scope of this app, but I understand how frustrating that can be. NO ITEMS ARE GETTING APPROVED - ITS BEEN OVER A MONTH. BUT APPARENTLY THEY CAN SPEND £23 FOR ME ON ADVERTS WITHOUT ANY APPROVED ITEMS? WHAT IS GOING ON!!! PLEASE BRING BACK A USEFUL GOOGLE APP. THIS DOESN'T HELP ADVERTISE & PEOPLE WILL START LEAVING SHOPIFY!!

I'm done. Don't fall for this app. Products still "pending" on shopify yet they are approved on Google. BLAH

This application has been the most frustrating experience I've ever had. You're much better off with a manual feed. Products take 15+ days to approve, the interface is terrible, not very compatible with merchant center (products show pending in shopify but not in merchant center) and the best part is that neither google or shopify have any insight on how to resolve any errors that come up. After two months of trying, I deleted this app. Save yourself the time and don't use this.

I never got this to work properly. Data is pulled with wrong information causing Google do disapprove all of my products. Waste of time.

Incredibly basic. Learn to use the Googles Ads interface or hire someone. It's amazing that this is the best that Shopify can provide.

DONT DO IT! Does not work + TEMPORARILY CRASHED OUR SITE WHEN UNINSTALLING. You would think that a Shopify app would be vetted right? Really if you are going to put your name on something you should make sure it works,
