J'ai installé cette app et depuis je me suis fait suspendre mon compte merchant et google ads, malgré plusieurs demande d'examen je n'ai pas réussi à récupérer mon compte qui était vieux et aucun problème avant. C'est scandaleux !!!

I installed the Google sales channel in my Shopify store. Did everything Google requested to be in compliance. All my products keep getting kicked back disapproved due to invalid barcodes. Barcodes are valid and issued from my supplier. In the process of trying to get it resolved my Google ads account was SUSPENDED. Not once but twice. Still trying to get the suspension resolved is a complete and total waste of time and inconvenience.It seems I am not the only one having issues with invalid bar codes this app shouldn't even be listed on the store until the issues with Google can be fixed.

I had to finally uninstall this app with great disappointment. No matter what we did, not one of our 340 items were ever approved and we did everything we could to comply with the rules regarding picture size, putting products on a white background, itemizing by category numbers as per Google, and colours as required as much as possible and even adding the necessary text in Google Merchant Center and we were still suspended. We tried about 4 or 5 times but we were never approved so we just gave up.

I have been trying to work with this app for almost a month. None of my product is syncing or getting approved and no reason has been given. Tried to get help from Google Merchant Centre but I was just bushed off by saying that everything seems ok from their end. I actually watched tons of videos on Shopify and YouTube but no one seems to have any solutions or even the cause of the problem. So frustrating dealing with this app......

*Updated* After a week of screwing with it I gave up NOT FOR BEGINNERS. Requires an understanding of metafields on Shopify and potentially some HTML and CSS and Google, frankly, isn't worth it. Most of the issues I had were with Google, not this app specifically, but there were still some frustrating bugs. 1. You need an understanding of meta fields, what they are and how to edit them, which is somewhat hidden in Shopify and even then they seem to be buggy (the dropdown menus don't populate) . Google also makes it extra difficult by requiring A TON OF THEM and putting the only comprehensive list of product categories in a csv that you have to download, and making some of the values for the metafields dropdown lists that don't populate. It would've made a lot more sense if I had read this post first: https://community.shopify.com/c/Shopify-Apps/Populating-Fields-for-the-Google-Shopping-App/td-p/338281 2. Google is not very clear about where they want contact information visible on the site and their support staff and docs are inconsistent about what is acceptable. Going back and forth with them half a dozen times I got half a dozen different answers. Ultimately, I had to learn how customize the contact.liquid template to add the contact info google wanted in HTML without having it above the contact form I would prefer people use. 3. Google is both incredibly slow and opaque when it comes to approving products and not suspending the merchant account. From the merchant account. I finally gave up when they told me I needed to verify my phone number and the instructions they sent me to do that took me to a page showing that my phone number has been verified for almost a month. Having done content creation for another store for a few years, I never once saw google shopping make a single sale, while Ebay and Etsy sold $20-$40k/month. If it were a quick and easy setup process, maybe it would be worth it. In my case I have a lot of unique and one-off items so it's absolutely not worth the time.

i have literally been trying at this for months. ive gotten ahold of google automated emails but not a person. disapprove my products then suspend my account telling me to update products but cant update cause its suspended. crazy circle. no help at all from google. and now because of it my ads account is now suspended so messed for just regular non corporate business

I am not able to add Google product category and other relevant data at collection level which makes the whole process of updating a big catalog unnecessarily painful to update.

the app has a lot of bugs with it. the GTIN information is filled in completely and 2 days later it shows the data blank even though it is fully populated. The items not approved either lack a reason or has inaccurate information.

This app does not approve several items and it doesn't tell you how to fix the issue. Also, items do not show up on Google Shopping.

Been trying all day to speak with support about how I've been having an issue with the Google Shopping App in our Shopify store. No matter how much I shorten the product description, the warning always appears stating that the description is too long. Nobody seems to know what to do and I keep getting sent back and forth to different support people as Shopify and Google support point the finger at each other and shrugging off the problem as "not theirs"

Google flagged all of my handmade by myself products as misrepresented, and then failed to provide me with a solution to fix them

The feed is not refreshing, example: I have changed some price in the shop and the feed not changes... so G-ads disapproved the items... then I found out in the Merchant Center the products will be expire in 3 day, because the feed is not refreshed in the last 30 days. I have tried to remove then add item to feed... not worked. Also tried the add new products to the shop maybe the feed will be refreshed, but no luck. So in the short term the APP was good but after 30 days it is useless. :( We just created a manual feed...

Shopify Google REFUSED to help me after completely ruining my business and taking all my money. Horrible APP and a horrible fraud company. Please stay away from this APP, for your own sakes and for your company.

Google Product Category Fields doens't work. No matter what kind of category you fill in... It doens't sync.. so dynamic remarkting doesnt work properly.. Syncing with merchant is very slow... buggy. Please work on category syncing...

Our Query to Shopify: We are manually updating google fields for each product even though we had done this in bulk before while uploading using CSV. For example, see attached screenshot. This particular product was uploaded with all details like category, age, condition but still, it shows blank. We are doing all this manually now for each of 2000+ products. The response we received from Shopify: This is expected. These fields were for an older version of the Google app that no longer feeds this into the current Google channel so you will need to manually edit these fields. However you could use an app for this such as Excelify Or for more control over bulk editing these fields [Ablestar Bulk Product Editor(https://apps.shopify.com/bulk-product-editor) This doesn't help. We are not here to install the app and pay for each and every basic thing. what is the use of the google channel app? just ads? Whereas it should also help us make on-page optimization. Also, there is no way to insert canonical tags other than going to edit code. Our view is everything that needs to be done for google must happen from here.

I’m trying to fix the issues within my store so that Google Merchant and Google Ads will be fixed and hopefully unsuspended by not being able to access the Google Channel through Shopify this is make my job MUCH harder. Getting someone to help with the issues that are going to on with the approval of products so it’s not “Misleading” is impossible. If someone can help us out that would be great.

Started out great for about the first 10 days. Then got hit with suspensions by Google on both Ads and Merchant Center accounts for "Misrepresentation" Tried for weeks get an understanding of what was wrong from both Google and Shopify. Only received emails containing ambiguous info with out any clear and direct info regarding what's wrong and how to fix it.

i don't know why Google don't approve my products and suspended my acc. I don't know what to do to solve it! It says: Account suspended due to policy violation: Misrepresentation of self or product (Untrustworthy promotions) To resolve your suspension, you need to go to Google Merchant Center and contact Google support.
