Same issues here. We are very much unhappy. It was working great but stopped working from around 3-4 weeks ago without giving any notice or issues. Still it's not working. Our sales and traffic are lost too much. Please investigate ASAP. Thanks.

As so many others have said, this is easy to initially set up, but the editing is atrocious. Google disapproved many products. I've wanted to go in to make edits, but there is no way to filter, so every product we've EVER had in our store shows up--not just those that are currently available. SO TEDIOUS.

For listing things it's great, until it starts wanting settings that shouldn't apply to that product at all. Gender, age, etc for paint. Fixing this does nothing since the item is back up on the list for yet something else the next day or hour. Image crawls? 3 days? Nope. They never finish. I don't even know what they are looking for in image crawls. Missing GTINs or wrong ones? Fix them? Nope. It still says it's the wrong GTIN even though you scanned right from the product. I have been fighting this daily for a month now and still have over 500 products on the publish error list that keep coming back. Edit: Now over half my products are coming up with the error of not having a GTIN... but only when the GTIN is scanned or the product altered in any way. THey all have barcodes (gtins) in the listings! Customer support has stopped responding after the first email.

As far as I know, there is no way to set up a second feed in shopify for another country. You can set it up in Google, but you can't synch them with your shopify products. That doesn't make any sense in German-speaking countries. Anyone who speaks German would sell to Germany and Austria or even Switzerland. ...No products in Austrian google :( If there is a possibility - please help!

The app worked for the first campaign I created in May 2019. For some reason it started giving errors so I removed the old campaign and created a new one however the new campaign in ads account keeps saying it's misconfigured and missing conversion tracking. As per shopify if I'm using this app it automatically has the conversions setup but it's not happening. Also not to mention there is 0 support from Shopify and Google. Planning to move to some paid apps where I can get quality support!!

This App has been the best & worst experience for us. We installed the App & very quickly it turned our buinsess around in the most amazing way & solved all our Google Ad challenges. We loved what this app had done for us BUT soon after, we starting experiencing problems with product feed & syncing on Google Merchant Centre and the nightmare began, before we knew it, our active poroducts on Merchant Centre dropped from more than 6000 to less than 1700 and kept going down & our wesbite came to a grinding halt - no more revenue!! Contacting support has been a frustrating experience and each day that passed we lost revenue while they 'tried' to fix the problem with little actual feedback, to the point that we swithced to another app just to make sure that our issues with Merchant Centre were as a result of a problem with this app - once we switched, all our product issues resloved and almost zero issues on Merchant Centre but the app we installed is not Google Channel and has not yet done what Google Channel had done for us - we are so very sad that the support team had not helped us and that we know have to deal with the problem of knowing of probably the best Google Shopping App which has issues with product feed that we have had to leave and now sit with an app that has no product feed issues but has added no value as Google Channel did - nobody from support of this app will probably even read this review so it probably doesnt matter that I write this - if only a real person from support would actually care enough to truly want to help us, we could keep using this App that we know is able to produce amazing results - I don't know what to do.

This app is for those who trust Google with their 'Smart Shopping' campaigns, but not suitable for proper Google Shopping Campaigns (where you can manage bids and segment, switching products on and off etc.). Smart Shopping does not provide the best ROI for businesses so would recommend choosing a more versatile tool and managing your Ads more effectively.

Same errors, loads of them. After using the template. I have gone back into my product page to ensure better integration. Yet still, errors. Its taking too long to set up and a zillion other things to do... Wish I could get some help!

After I saw all the great ratings of this app, I was very excited to use it. I'll start out by saying it's not all bad, but unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. The good: 1) set-up was very simple - my unpaid listing appeared on Google Shopping and after a few days was showing up for all relevant searches; 2) customer service is 5-star (Luke really did his best to help me out and was successful with helping me with the free shipping piece since it was originally displaying the highest priority shipping I charge rather than standard). The bad: 1) we currently have two products, and even though nowhere in Shopify does it say they are variants, Google was treating them as size variants of each other; 2) only the feature images showed up on the unpaid listing result - when you clicked on the listing however, very old images were showing that were out of date (Luke tried to do a reset on these two things to get our current product images to display, but sadly it didn't work); 3) more of a suggestion than a bad thing, but it would be really helpful if this app integrated with review systems like judge.me - currently this app does not support this because Shopify creates its own ID that it sends to Google rather than grabbing your gtin/SKU, meaning you can't get your product ratings to display on Google Shopping because the numbers won't match up. Although I've decided to try out another app in the hopes of a better result, I do want to emphasize the excellent customer service - thanks for trying guys; it's the app that let me down!

*Update May 2020* I will keep updating my review until all the issues are fixed I keep having to open tickets to get this app working and the constant babysitting of the feed is getting frustrating. The following issues still remain: 1. CSV import is broken, the metafields in the csv are outdated and are ignored by both Shopify and Google Merchant Center. The only bulk way to update the correct Google Shopping fields is with a paid app or using the bulk editor. 2. The only way to use the free bulk editor is you have to click manage availability from the app, you cannot use the normal bulk editor, which means you cannot filter products you want to edit. 3. Bug: if you have a product with variants and one of the variants has UPC filled in and the other variant does not have a UPC the app pre check will complain your UPC has the wrong digits and will not submit the variant to Google Merchant Center. 4. The feed stalls frequently and you have to open a ticket to get the team to resync your products. If you are not careful you will be missing products in the feed and several times your feed will expire and Google will delist all your products. 5. If google flags an issue with a product and you go and fix it, depending on the issue the shopify app will fail to reimport that product and submit back to google. I have several where I entered UPC wrong, google flagged it, I fix the UPC and the product disappears from the feed. You have to open a ticket with the team to have them re import your feed. *I know the team is trying and they are working on this app, but they really need more technical help or resources, this is an import app/feature for shopify and critical to every business.

We sync your product catalogue with Google once a day, unless nothing has been changed in which case it is approximately once every 15 - 20 days, but should anything come up that requires a sync of your products you can always reach out to our team and we can sync your catalogue from our end if it's warranted. This app was working great! But after a few months, the feed no longer synced with Google Shopping Actions. I have repeatedly contacted support and technical team. They have been no help at all. Very frustrating!

Looks easy to install, I've setup Google Merchant Account successfully. But my products have not been approved. This is the message I'm getting "Google is reviewing your Merchant Center account. Your product will be re-reviewed once your account is approved." No clarity at all. How can I resolve this issue so my products are Approved by Google Shopping? Do I need to wait or what?

That notice is letting you know that your Google Merchant Center account is still within the review period with Google and that once that review is complete, Google will review your products for approval! This process typically takes between 3 - 5 business days. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. The Google Shopping App uses "Smart Shopping campaigns". These campaign use machine learning with the goal to achieve maximized conversions. Google's systems will pull from the product feed to test a number of combinations and then show it across the most relevant ads across the Google network. There's a lot of different ways that these campaigns can work, but you can also look at designing your own without the smart feature. It would work as expected if the developers had taken the time to give the user the choice on what variants to feed to google merchant or not. The app is feeding all the variants per product which I do not want. The most expensive variant shows at the top on google shopping and make my products look more expensive than the competitors'. The less expensive variants do not rank as high. I am expending money on a campaign and this app can not even give me the choice to pick what variants to advertise or not. I get many impressions in google but a few clicks and no purchases. This is lack of vision is costing me money. I may unistall this app un less they fix this ASAP. Seems like an obvious problem.

no problem installing or running the app, easy no issues. Not being able to set your ads is the biggest problem with this app. You are not setting your keywords, pictures or what it says. I see my ads all the time and they look like crap. It will flash whichever picture for the product without any explanation on what it is. In proper google ads, my keyword is about 1.80 per click. In this campaign, my rate is 0.11 per click. Also the bounce rate is way high, so this app actually hurts my shop standing with google

Google does currently have a limitation where if a product is not updated within 30 days, it expires. The Google Shopping app should update your product before this timeframe so products should not expire.
