Customer care is virtually non-existent, as they merely direct customers to read through policies, terms & conditions, and other documentation to resolve issues independently. Responses are often vague, lacking specific reasons for account suspensions.

Removi da minha conta pois queria tirar todos os produtos do ar e NÃO REMOVE OS PRODUTOS DO GOOGLE SHOPPING/ GOOGLE MERCHANT CENTER, editei em massa os produtos todos para 10 reais como teste e foi tudo para o google shopping e merchant center, agora que removi, eles ainda estão lá por 10 reais e estamos recebendo clientes pedindo os produtos pelo preço errado

Hello and thank you for taking the time to leave a review. In order to delete the product follow these steps: 1. disconnect Google & YouTube app in Shopify 2. Then go to Merchant Center and delete those products manually. By default Google retains products for 30 days before they expire. If you need products to be removed from Merchant Center immediately, you can delete them directly in Merchant Center after you disconnect the Google & YouTube app within Shopify

Long story short lot's of effort 1 day wasted for nothing at least for my store. Here the full story : First i got this error code when i put my gmail account with all my youtube channel es=ABAdc_jPqaIoB5ZoVWRq8lnAvtbcGu67wHGVUbxIrMTF9AaW6lCPgUnSB8CEWY1BjlU-Ie4vnwkMYvXdaoPAacl0_i-uQidE4bch-8uNO2eHFibjsgl2AjHtnSWKz1Cae0_WLsviT8ff No clear message to tell you what the error really is. I used my gmail account with no youtube channel and it's worked, after that i had to found a way to transfer my brand youtube channel and i found it it's not easy and there is an error when you input email where it's said undefined instead of showing your email. Just to have a message that said i cannot link my youtube channel with with this app and have access to youtube shopping because i need it to have 1000 subscription & monetisation. Pointless then for a new youtube channel . back to the app to add google merchant , i had a issue with the policy as i made separate page for it on my shopify, figured out that you have to fill every input field in policy section in my shopify to make it work, You have to check that you have contact field manualy and you can proceed. But you need to make a google merchant account first, and dont do anything on it because it not really synced, i transfered my domain on the same email adress between the app and the google merchant to figure out that. After a while it's will import all your product to say , that none of them are approved and you dont know why . Long story short it's was a huge waste of time, all that for nothing, maybe the only good part is i installed googe Analytics v4.

Reply to Google feedback: Thank you for your reply Our issue is your tag team installed the Google tags on our website before the Google YouTube channel This makes our tags all mixed up The migration from ya to ga4 also made tracking confusing We asked for your support to help clear thing up via a short video call but got absolutely nowhere -------- We have been asking for Google ads support to help set up Google conversion tracking for Google ads for months... Despite multiple emails all we get is the same answer from India Google ads go to help centre to set it up yourself Even though they set up Google tag on our website before Now everything is all mixed up we cannot run any ads Google ads sales also rude on the phone

Absolutely awful. The instructions are unreliable and WRONG. Does NOT automatically pick up the variant SKU, even though this content is correctly added in the native MPN field of Shopify *and* in the additional custom field that Google Merchant Center added for MPN. No customization rules beyond overly simple options for title and description. Totally useless if you actually want to sell products on Merchant Center. This is yet another garbage piece of software made by Google. Literally a waste of time.

IT's now 2 Months that we've tried to use this Apps. Google Merchant still declined us with : "Account suspended due to policy violation: Misrepresentation" without helping us out to identify the problem. They send a Generic email very vague and useless to identify the issue. We were expecting a deep more and integrated solution. But sound it is not! Since the installation of this App, we've published on EBAY and AMAZON all our 600 products without any issues with another App!

Ormai Google sta cadendo a pezzi. Il plugin viene aggiornato di rado, ho un problemi con le conversioni e l'assistenza non mi aiuta. Le ads su google/youtube sono sempre meno efficaci. L'unica cosa buona che avevate fatto, ovvero Google Optimizer l'avete chiusa. Un impero che si sta letteralmente sgretolando. Google pronta al fallimento

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I sell TEA, and my Title for one product, Viking Tea qty 11, is Disapproved for placement because they say the Title is Sexually Suggestive. How is, Viking Tea, qty 11 (or quanity of 22) Sexually Suggestive? They did this in all the categories they can fail me in. There is something very wrong with these people. They must be Fact Checkers in their other jobs.

Our Shopify Google App's conversion tracking has been inactive for 4 days, disrupting our ad campaign assessments. The app is also conflicting with our manual tracking code, a common issue per customer reviews and community discussions. We've opened a case two days ago with no response. Due to your product problem, the product ID in GA4 in our Google Analytics is displayed abnormally. Most of the product SKUs display the product digital code in the shopify backend. I hope you can fix this bug.

The absolute worst experience with this app, it is incredibly frustrating. "Mismatched Currency In Shipping Information" has been plaguing us for 48 hours. All currency is USD, shipping currency is USD, I even shut off international markets and disabled geolocation to no avail. The worst part is, 900 products are approved, and a few hundred random ones are not, and the ones that aren't keep changing (day by day, some errors will disappear, and new ones will pop up). Contacted Google support about the issue and how to fix and their response was literally "You need to fix this or we will disable your account on December 7th". Truly insane, especially with the amount we spend on Google Ads every month.

This is the worst experience I've ever had with this app, and caused my account to be suspended integrating shopify's products. I've spent hours trying to fix issues. I can't get any live help. At least on the merchant account, it could update progress, but it doesn't, just take you around in circles. Even when adding sku's on manage my account it still says incorrect value. Horrible situation.

Why do big and smart companies like Google end up making their products useless? They have best of the minds with them to make apps that function well with their products. And they can't even do that well. What a shame! This app is supposed to record analytics well. Can't even do that properly.

Avoid it if you can, or at least make it your last priority. I wish I tried to manually set myself up on google rather than use this tool. Is currently the slowest 3rd party app on my site, will not work out of the box (and may do 'weird' things like add multiple pixels and then connect to the wrong one), and there is 0 support (no contact for months, once I had an employee invite me to a meeting and then not show up) for when your account inevitably gets flagged by some faulty automation.

Below review submitted one year ago and the issue is still not fixed. As far as syncing products the app works great. Issues arise when you have a large number of products - thousands to be exact. We are currently at 6101 SKUS and when attempting to bulk edit in the app it freezes once we reach product 1100 and provides a "Page Unresponsive" error from Shopify. Google Tech Support has verified all is fine on their end so this issue is definitely on Shopify's end and seems to only appear when you have more than 1000 products. Others that have left reviews seem to have run into the same issue with this app. They told me this would be fixed by this morning and it is not. With other reviews encountering the same issues in the past months, it is evident Shopify is unwilling or unable to correct the issue. I would look elsewhere. Wish Shopify would take care of issues with their platform as opposed to aesthetics. Shopify platform and support have deteriorated a great deal over the past 3-4 years.
