Trying to figure out google ads and why they keep suspending my ads accounts and having issues with my listings has gone on for months. We've paid people, spoken to their 'help' desk so many times it's absurd. they should have videos step=by-step on how to set up successful merchant centers and ad accounts. Now I have 2 suspended ads accounts and merchant accounts with issues that we keep fixing and then get suspended. It's terrible.

If you use 3rd party product feed this will brake it. If you think it will simplify GA4 and google ads Tag it will not, if you using other app for your product feed. It will install and link GA4 but to install and link google ads tag YOU need to use there feed! there is no option in the app NOT to send feed, there is no option in merchant centre to choose your feed either. So once you disconnect on this app from merchant centre it will disconnect and delete google ads Tags as well. SO if you use other app for you product feed and thinking about simplifying tags this will not work in fact this will override and brake your feed. Customer support will just paly ping pong among 'departments' and will close your case after about 2nd caned response. Ogh and be careful with Performance Max campaigns will throttle your ads to click farms. Edit: apparently this app stopped 'purchase' tracking after 1/Jul. so NO you can't even import conversions from GA4 to ads. And yes i'm being bounced around google departments again. At this point its just funny how bad things are. Before thinking about monetarization could you google folks just create APP that sorts tags out???!!! Its BASIC and most important first step to connect to you! And yet its in absolute shambles

Just to clarify, GA4 tagging and free listings / ads conversion tracking are two separate tag mechanisms for setting up conversion tracking. You do not need to connect your Merchant Center account to the Google & YouTube app to set up your GA4 tagging or to track conversions through GA4. If you’d like to track conversions through GA4, once you’ve connect your GA4 account / property to the Google & YouTube app, follow these steps [https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/10632359?hl=en] to import conversions to ads. If you delete the Google & YouTube app, only tags set up through the app will be deleted and can be set up again if you reinstall / connect. Not working in My site because our oficial european currency BGN is not supported from GOOGLE. Bulgaria is in European Union but not for Google. I can't check the Target country and language options BECAUSE they determine store currency: Bulgarian Lev (BGN)

I'm not understanding how this app can work for some people and not others. It keeps telling me the name of my store is incorrect, when I know for a fact it is correct. To be as advanced as Google is, I expect better. Why would I spend money on Google Adds when your system does not even recognize the name of my store. I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times. Unless support gets this right, I'm moving on from this app.

Impossible de détecter l'evenment purchase avec l'integration GA4 malgré le suivi rigoureux et sans aucune erreur des instructions Google et Shopify. Le service Google me renvoie vers lassistance shopify et l'assistance Shopify me renvoie vers l'assistance Google. J'ai repéter la procédure maintes et maintes fois, j'ai recrée des comptes Google neuf pour recommencer de A à Z mais rien n'y fait : l'evenment purchase n'est pas détécté. C'est une honte qu'apres le suivi rigoureux de toutes les etapes cela ne fonctionne pas, cela fait maintenant 2 semaine que l'assistance Shopify et Google me fait tourner en bourique !! Vraiment une honte, quand on donne desinstruction de configuration on s'assure qu'elle fonctionne !!! Il me faut absolument une aide efficace !!!

The same happened to me. A total disaster of configuration inside Shopify. This is one review left before me. "I have entered and double-checked the contact information in my store a thousand times. Customers can access the page - Contact Form, a link to my contact information and pages on social networks. There is an e-mail at the bottom of the page. Shopify support has confirmed that I have done everything correctly. And after all this, the app answers me that Google verification is not passed." So Shopify says I'm good but when you enter your account at Shopify, it is still not connected.

No support or any details whom to contact. Need someone to get back to me, this thing has created 3 tags that I do not recognize and have no Idea how to remove them. Deleting the app does nothing.

Avoid! Worst support ever. You will only get copy and paste answers that are generic so look for another app. I cannot understand why Google does not put just a bit effort into this. I have started 4-5 support tickets with no-value reply and they seem not really interested to solve, in some cases, they reply back to Shopify. The conversion value does not work correctly between the app and Analytics/AdWords. Incorrent title displays between Merchant Center and Shopify.

Impossible to get a human. Just a trash service even though we are spending thousands on Google Ad's. Another big tech dumpster fire. My dream is that AI levels their business.

One word: Misrepresentation. It's pretty much impossible to run a POD company now with Google. It's disgusting how much money I've spent on Google Ads over the years and yet not a single person from Google could help me with my account suspension. We dob't scam people, we're a legitimate business. This has been going on for a year now and destroying people's main source of income. They need to get rid of this.

Ich bin nicht nur vom Google Kanal, sondern auch vor allem vom Merchant Center mehr als enttäuscht. Sie legen einem Steine in den Weg, wo es nur geht. Ich empfinde dieses "Misrepresenting" und "entspricht nicht den Richtlinien" inzwischen als reine Schikane. Ich habe den Support des Merchant Centers bereits mehr als einmal angeschrieben und darum gebeten, dass mir konkret mitgeteilt wird, wo die "Fehler" sein sollen. Habe darauf hingewiesen, dass ich natürlich daran interessiert bin, eventuelle "Fehler" zu korrigieren...habe dies auch auf Verdacht gemacht, da als Reaktion auf meine E-Mails immer nur eine Standard-Nachricht kam, sodass man merkte, dass garnicht auf meinen Inhalt eingegangen wurde. Wie kann man Fehler korrigieren, wenn man nicht weiß, was angeblich falsch sein soll. Für mich sieht das eher aus, als ob das an den Haaren herbeigezogen wurde. Alle angeblichen "Produktfehler"von Google, die ich auf Gutdünken korrigiert habe (und per Screenshot festgehalten habe) und kurze Zeit verschwunden waren, sind inzwischen wieder und wieder aufgetaucht.....es werden fehlende Barcodes bemängelt, die alle vorhanden sind ...bei Tierfutter werden Altersgruppe, Gender etc. verlangt - was soll das?. Das Merchant Center scheint sich nicht bewußt zu sein, dass es damit Existenzen ausbremst. Es ist enttäuschend, dass kleinere Unternehmen, die mit einem Online Shop durchstarten wollen, somit erst garkeine Chance haben, ihre Produkte auf den Markt zu bringen. Für mich ist das reine Willkür

why were google metafields (category,sizes,colors,gender) removed on product page? is not an update but a downgrade. all products must be subsequently processed again. App no longer recommended.

So far, I am beyond not happy! I am not even going ot bother using this app. What a waste of time. I have close to 150 products and they ALL need to be reconfigured in Google for Google. And I mean multiple reconfigurations per product! So much for bulk editor. I spent all that time setting up in Shopify and now I have to do it all again? What's the purpose for the app? I could have just set up Google separately. Why am I trying to help Shopify make more money, if they're making more work for me to do it?

i am beyond disappointed. I am having merchant issues due to the GTIN, MPN, etc and adding these, which you have to do ONE BY ONE, does not fix the issue. Shopify is 70% of my income so now i'm faced with no option but to rush to another platform. I hope everyone else facing this issue takes legal action of some sort because this is your income they're messing with and it's unacceptable.

I got all my account suspend by google merchant. All my google merchant does not work now and when you talk to support, no one is able to help you on the shopify team. Furthermore, it creates new merchant account on google by itself. I am removing it .

I am very frustrated with the Google merchant center. My account gets suspended every time in try to post a product. I have had Shopify for two months with only two sales. Google isn't clear about what misrepresentation mean. I tried to follow the whole list still not difference, watch and tried a whole bunch of YouTube and still in the same place. Not sure what to do now. Please help with some constructive help not any vague details. The suspension still the same.Thanks

I have been having trouble with this new setup for weeks - have gotten absolutely nowhere, and getting my Merch on my Youtube channel has become a NIGHTMARE with no success - no longer user friendly!
