Update: - Suddenly Google is not performing, multiple products are missing fields despite them not being missing on our listings. Google say speak to Shopify but nothing is working. Very disappointing as you can see from below that the App was brilliant before :( This app works brilliantly for us at https://oldschoolfootball.co.uk It has helped make the complicated, simple. I couldn't be happier with the returns on spend and the whole process was so easy to set up thanks to the user friendliness of the app. Five stars!!

App is good way to get started but if you are a more advanced ppc user it is frustrating as you cannot optimize your campaign within Google Adwords. You have no way to see what terms are converting, optimize bids, ad negative keywords etc. Great for getting your feet wet but not good if you want any control over your campaign.

You are correct that the Google Shopping app is great for creating Smart Campaigns but with more specific requirements, you will need to operate within your Google Merchant Center for some features as this is required from Google. My products on The HBCU Alum have been "Pending" for 3 weeks now. A tad disappointed, as I hoped this would have been resolved by now.

Biggest gripe is that you can not exclude variants from the feed. Other than that I guess it is ok, but nothing special.

Beware the app doesnt have any option to specify if the tax / GST gets added to the product price when setting the "price" attribute in the field. Google has recently made its "price" validation mandatory to check the final check out price and is disapproving feed items and eventually suspending account because of this issue. My merchant account is now suspended because my INR based site's data feed isn't including the tax amount. The app needs fixing ASAP otherwise abstain from using this app.

So far it seems fine, other than there's no search. If you have 100's of products how can you search and see if that product is approved and listed. You can't sift through pages and pages looking for it. No one is mentioning that we received an email from Shopify saying we had no choice but had to make this move before end of Jan 2018. This page says it's beta. But we were told we had no choice and had to move and the other google shopping app was being disconnected.

Good Morning, I need to be able to change the GTIN because is rejecting all my products for that. The google category is not that cool, not complete. The merchant center link is not clear. ONE SUPER IMPORTANT THING IS LABELS, WITHOUT THEM I CANNOT MAKE MY STRATEGY GOOD. Many things to improve, hope you hear this comments because this is one of the first sales channels. Thank you.

Does not work easily with Shopify Buy Buttons! :/ (you have to have a Shopify hosted store). I would hope that Shopify would support their own Buy Buttons for something as useful as Google Shopping ads. WORKAROUND: I enabled a Shopify Store, then I put a redirect script in the theme and matched all product urls on my wordpress site. Now Google is enabled and all traffic is redirected to my site.
