App is very limited in what it offers. Experienced some issues but Mia was very helpful in resolving the issue.

Hey there! Thanks for sharing this. We’ve since released a completely new version of the app. It now includes much faster document printing, full HTML/code customization, and a visual editor for quick changes without technical work. The version you used was from before we acquired the app - it had unfortunately been neglected for 4+ years, which led to some of the limitations you experienced. Really glad Mia was helpful. Hey there! I’m really sorry you ran into this. To be transparent, the UI issues and saving problems you experienced were part of the older version of the app from before we acquired it. It hadn’t been maintained well for 4 years. Since taking over recently, we’ve rebuilt Invoice Falcon from the ground up and fixed a lot of the stability issues you’re describing. Still having some glitches such sas discount will not updated with shopify and invoice dollar amount won't match with the shopify order which causing lots of problems for payments

Hey there! Thanks for sharing this, and I’m sorry about the issues with discounts and totals not matching. We’ve made major improvements since then, especially around accuracy between Shopify orders and invoices, along with overall stability. The version you used was from before we took over, and it wasn’t being actively maintained at the time. That led to problems like the ones you described. Ich nutze die App für die Erstellung von Rechnungen. Der Support ist schnell, die Funktionen finde ich allerdings etwas unübersichtlich angelegt und nicht ganz selbsterklärend. Die Übersetzung auf Deutsch finde ich manchmal auch etwas unglücklich.

Danke für dein Feedback, das hilft uns wirklich weiter. Seitdem haben wir die App deutlich überarbeitet. Die Benutzeroberfläche ist klarer geworden, viele Abläufe wurden vereinfacht, und auch die Übersetzungen wurden verbessert. Die Version, die du genutzt hast, war noch aus einer Phase, in der die App nicht aktiv weiterentwickelt wurde. Inzwischen haben wir sie zurück übernommen und mit einem stärkeren Team neu aufgebaut. Wenn du möchtest, probier die aktuelle Version gerne noch einmal aus oder melde dich direkt bei uns. - Sandesh / CEO

Very sorry to be updating my previous review. I decided to uninstall the app as the customer support was not existent for days. I guess these things happen especially if you run a small team. Generally the app is useful and there are many things you can customize (of course there is always room for improvement, I would like to see some extra features becoming available). Recently my invoices would stop displaying as I wanted them to look, font settings no longer worked and I required quick support which came way too late (and still, the issue is not resolved to this day). So I decided to go ahead with a different invoice app.

We now have a much more responsive team and are far more hands-on when issues come up. We’ve also rebuilt large parts of the app since then with better performance and more flexibility. The Invoice App fails to work as needed about once a month. Overlapping characters and text are a recurring problem that I have to call them to fix. Most recently, the App had difficulty loading and it took a minute for me to print an Invoice, instead of 10 seconds. It took 10 days for them to resolve the issue and that's just too long. I am now looking to see if I can find something more reliable.

Hey there! I’m really sorry you had to deal with this. That's not how an app should be. We’ve since released a completely rebuilt version of Invoice Falcon that focuses heavily on speed and reliability. Document generation is now much faster, and issues like layout inconsistencies have been addressed at the core level. The version you were using was from before we took the app back over. It wasn’t being properly maintained at the time, which led to delays like the 10 day resolution you experienced. Decided to stay on the app after some bad experiences - periodic changes to "improve" their app adversely impact other areas, such that invoices and/or credit notes are no longer accurate. Could manually correct some of these errors before, but latest error could not be manually corrected and required their intervention, which while initially slow, did eventually remedy the problem and the app is once again fully functional. I hope they continue with this more attentive customer service support. It actually started so well with them (3 years ago) and gradually over the past couple of years had a decline in customer service and reliability - suspect this is because the staff are seemingly entirely different now - but hopefully that decline is being proactively reversed.

That phase was when the app wasn’t being actively maintained by the previous owners, which led to issues with accuracy and slower support.
