So far so good ! I had an urgent emergency where the coding was not set up correctly and there was someone there who jumped on a call right away with me and forced it - Shri to the remedy right away !!!! Thank you for your support

Service is really quick, and they cover a large part of the day, from India. However, I find the app is limited for my specific needs and I would have liked to be able to exclude products and collections from discounts, and I seem to be able to do it only for the shipping discount. Probably I could do it with the extended Custom tier but once this is added, it becomes a fairly expensive app for such a small business as ours. I don't know if I will keep it yet. It's proven very effective for our Black Friday sale and for the first time, we have not experienced angry people unable to redeem the discount. Yet. It's a good app, maybe not the perfect one for us.

App has great functionality for setting up multiple free gift promos at a time. There are some areas for improvement for more fine-tuned functionality - cart page & drawer refinement. The chat function is great and all the customer service representatives are supportive.

This app makes discounts so easy and their support is excellent. We have been using it for about a year now and love the flexibility and ease of use. We work with a lot of different promotions and this handles everything.

I really wanted Kite Discounts to work for my store, but after extensive testing and multiple support interactions, I had to uninstall it due to major issues that were never properly addressed. I reported two critical bugs: 1. Progress-bar discounts awarding infinite free products on ALL products being added to cart (confirmed by a member of their team during a live Google Meet). 2. Incorrect pricing displayed in foreign currencies The widget was using the wrong price for my USD, GBP, EUR, and AUD markets. I have fixed pricing in USD and the app kept showing an incorrect strikeout price. This was not caused by Shopify’s automatic conversion — it was simply pulling the wrong number. Despite sharing a detailed video, screenshots, and a live demo, support repeatedly misunderstood or dismissed the issues instead of reviewing them properly. I spent a lot of time explaining that I wasn’t asking for custom features — just trying to report two fundamental bugs that could cause serious problems for any merchant running an international store. The idea behind the app is good, but it feels like it tries to “do everything” without the reliable QA needed for something as sensitive as discount logic. My experience left me frustrated and out of patience, especially with BFCM approaching. I’m relieved I caught these issues in testing rather than live on my shop, but unfortunately I can’t recommend the app until these bugs and the support process are addressed.

Janet Nelson from support was AMAZING. She offered to get on a 15 minute live call to help me set up the app to my unique offer. I tried 10 other cart apps and the support here was the bet experience so far. The app can be customized to many unique offers and scenarios. If you are thinking about if this cart app will work for your store, you will probably find it will work great. Thanks!
