Great app, great support

I just started using it and I am very pleased with the ease of use. But perhaps THE BEST PART is the responsiveness of the support team. In this digital age so many companies have good products --- sometimes even great products but disappointing support teams. I am glad to say that LDT Digital Downloads is NOT a disappointment. And for the price point of an app specifically built for Shopify. This is such a great deal. I have clients whose Shopify back offices I build and I will definitely be pitching this app to them as well. Great job App developers and Support team. Keep up the great work!

This app is amazing! And the best support I have ever gotten from a Shopify app! We released a movie and used this app to allow users to log into a portal to view our movie. They needed to purchase it so this app worked good with verifying their order number AND purchase email. Once they did and logged in, they could start streaming! However, we ran into an issue as we didn't want to upload the movie, but instead wanted to use a streaming app like Vimeo but their app didn't have this feature... so we pinged their support and they got it added in within 15 minutes! AMAZINGGGGG! Highly recommend!

An update after a full year+ using this app: it's really great. Worked flawlessly; no issues the whole time. Totally recommended. Thanks, team. I'm updating this because I'm now moving off Shopify's platform. My LDT subscription renewed for the year, and I messaged the team asking if it could be refunded. Answer: yes, no problem. Quality customer service, and a quality product. You can't go wrong.

We recently moved our digital download products from two different apps to LDT Digital Downloads Products and we couldn't be more pleased. All our products are running smoothly on one app now and process has been beyond seamless. Looking forward to adding more products with this great addition to our Shopify store!

I switched from Sendowl because I needed more than 1gb of file storage and LDT had - more file storage - a customer download portal all for a cheaper price. The app is great overall and works fine, customer service is great.... HOWEVER, there are a lot of little annoying things that stop this app from being perfect: 1) You can't edit all your email templates from settings, you have to scavenger hunt to find each one. 2) When you update a digital product you can send an update message by email, but it forces you to change the entire template just for that one instance. Sendowl was very simple. you had your base email template and when you send the update you could add a custom message that would only apply to that one email. 3) You can’t reset downloads for customers' orders. There is only an "add extra download" button where you have to give them an extra download. But if you give the customer too many, you have to subtract the number of downloads to the number you want the customer to have. Sometimes it just doesn’t work, so you have to contact customer service, and then customer service seems to only be available on European time…. like come on, just make a reset download button. 4) Their portal page is great but has very little customizability…some of which customer service can help with……but yea These are some of the major ones. All in all, after comparing all the other top rated digital download apps, LDT is definitely the best balance of price and features. I would say Sky pilot would be be one step up in terms of features and complete package, but they expensive af….so *update 8.18.2024 - the removed the feature the allows you send an updated version of your digital downloads from the starter plan. Now you have to pay double for that feature

LDT is a good app for digital downloads and very good compared to other competitor apps. Very good customer support that has helped with every issue we've had. Thanks!
