Connecting Littledata – The Data Layer was straightforward, and the initial setup was quick with no obvious issues. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. We expected a complete e-commerce integration with Google Ads, but only three conversion events were available: Purchase, New Customer Purchase, and Existing Customer Purchase. Essential e-commerce events such as add_to_cart, begin_checkout, view_item, add_payment_info, and other key events were not available for Google Ads, making it impossible to build a complete conversion funnel. Even more concerning, after connecting the app, our GA4 traffic suddenly disappeared, despite the website continuing to receive visitors. This left us spending a considerable amount of time trying to diagnose whether the app was interfering with our analytics setup. While the app is easy to install, our experience was disappointing. We expected a comprehensive data layer solution that would support the full range of Google Ads and GA4 e-commerce events, not just purchase tracking. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations.

The app is amazing! Their price - value ratio is incredible good, installation is so easy which is what got my attention to begin with. Also I can confirm my EMQ has increased considerably since installing the app, they also have their own bot filtering feature in-app, AND their customer support could not be any better they respond super fast the same day via live-chat, something very rare nowadays, I can recommend 10/10 lets go!

Littledata – The Data Layer is one of those apps you install and immediately wonder how you ever debugged Shopify tracking without it. Setup is straightforward, and once it’s running you get a clear, reliable data layer that makes analytics tooling behave the way it should. It’s especially strong for getting consistent ecommerce events through to GA4 and other platforms without the usual Shopify “mystery gaps,” duplicated events, or attribution weirdness. Having a single source of truth for customer and purchase activity (that you can actually trust) saves a ton of time compared to patching together pixels, scripts, and half-working workarounds. What I like most is the stability: the events are well-structured, implementation feels thoughtful, and it reduces ongoing maintenance rather than adding another moving part. Support has also been very responsive and practical. If you care about accurate conversion tracking, clean event data, and less time spent chasing discrepancies between Shopify and your analytics tools, this is an easy recommendation.

Only good experiences with customer service. Works reliably and Littledata seem to be very much on top of changes in Google, etc.

Really easy to implement, fast support when needed. Really got my GA4 numbers on point again after migrated to Shopify. Also REALLY good event increase in Meta and support good to go server side on Klaviyo to not miss anything for flows.
