Exceptional customer service and a brilliant product. Very beneficial for business and offers more opportunities for secret collections, VIP access, and other variations we hadn't even thought of to make our storefront engaging, elevated, and unique. 10/10! Huge ups to Tristan!

I would recommend this app. The app developer work with you to figure out if/how this app can work for your store or not. Keep in mind you may need a few days to get it dialed 100%, but the devs will work to deliver you a working solution.

Darn Locksmith for being too good! Due to Shopify''s fee structure on sales, I subscribed to a higher plan than I probably needed. Which meant that I was placed into a higher tier than I'd hoped for Locksmith. The dilemma is, I couldn't bring myself to reach out to ask for a lower price due to how well their plug-in works! You see, I offer custom products that I only want people to be able to add to their carts (since I despise invoicing as I also have an expansive catalog) AFTER I send them back a proof of what I'd be making for them. Locksmith gives me the peace of mind of protecting my custom products from ordering ahead of a request which is invaluable. It also works with Shopify's app which of all the plug-ins I've had to subscribe to, is the only one. Alls this to say, if you need to restrict products, I HIGHLY recommend Locksmith as it's been invaluable to my sanity and business model!

Great experience so far, extremely helpful in setting up our Wholesale Jewellery Store with limited access to customers. Ken from their team not only understood the entire flow but gave suggestions and helped in setting up the store till the end. They extended the trial for us to test things out. I love this so much I'm going to jump in to Mechanic next. Locksmith is the perfect solution to a problem I had and devs tried charging me hundreds when this took me 10 minutes and not much per month. Thanks for being awesome guys!

Locksmith and it's support team is BY FAR the best support I've ever seen in any app / company or product. Top tier product, top tier support. 11/10 Highly Recommended! Will continue to use their apps for a long time!

Updated: Thank you for a very kind reply. I have updated my review due to the nice reply. However, the problem still remains after I click on the hide features which you are referring to. Old review: This app has been very expensive for us!!! The app allows one to make a locked shop. However, the products in that locked shop are not hidden. We tried the app for 2 weeks where we had a locked shop, but during those weeks we experienced a drop in sales of 20k USD. We wondered why this happened. Turned out people could find the locked store in Shopify search and of course people did not want to buy our normal products when they could find the cheaper products in the locked store. Until hiding the products and the locked site, I would not recommend this app.
Hello! I understand the frustration of discovering that your wholesale products were visible in search results - that's a significant issue that impacted your business. I want to help address this, and I'm sorry you've had this experience. Locksmith does include features to hide products from search results and collection listings, but these need to be specifically enabled. Currently, these aren't enabled on your locks. To prevent wholesale products from appearing in regular store searches, you'll want to: 1. Enable the "Hide this product from search results and other lists" option in your lock settings 2. For additional protection, enable "Hide from sitemaps" (this uses Shopify's native SEO controls) I've added some extra trial days to your account if you'd like to test these features. Locksmith, particularly Erica in the support team, were extremely helpful in helping to get the app configured as we needed. We were without our developer during the setup and they stepped in and helped a huge amount The app itself has worked brilliantly for us and prevents customers from adding an item from a certain collection to the cart without first adding a one of a group of products.

Great experience with Locksmith, the team is super responsive and it does exactly what we needed it to do for our site (lock pricing for wholesale accounts only). Set up is easy and any small details the team responds quickly to assist.

This is the best performing Shopify app out there! We have built around 50 Shopify stores and use this on quite a few of them. The functionality, billing and customer service are all spot on. I haven't had any issues that weren't resolved quickly and professionally. Thanks a ton!

Terrible experience with this app. Firstly, the private link cannot be used in Klaviyo, so did not work as intended as for its promotional purpose. Now the apps installation has made our Shop sales profile become unapproved stating: Your Online Store is currently using password control or age verification app(s). To meet the requirements to Sell on Shop, please uninstall these apps. This is a catastrophic issue to be caused by using this app and is a massive regret in doing so.
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback, and I'm very sorry for the issues you faced when using Locksmith. We understand the frustration that comes about when unexpected things happen. To start, I'd like to address the Shop App issue, for you and for anyone else who reads this: Please note that if the Shop App is an important part of the traffic and sales on your store, you may not want to install Locksmith, or any other access control app, because the Shop App will stop functioning. The Shop App have some requirements for using their app. One of those requirements is that the store may not use any access control apps. This includes Locksmith, and any other apps that conditionally restrict access or "gate" the store. You can read the requirements for the Shop App, currently at this url: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-sales-channels/shop/eligibility/requirements This is something which is out of our hands, since it's not a requirement we set. Because we know this is important, we make this a major heading in our Agreement page. This agreement must be accepted when the app is installed and before it can be used. You can find the text of that here: https://www.locksmith.guide/policies/usage-agreement Using a Locksmith secret link with mailing lists services like Klaviyo can sometimes result in access being denied, and it's usually a minor formatting issue. It looks like we were able to offer you a fix, but at that point you had noticed that the Shop App was inactive, and needed to remove the app. Locksmith secret links are often used in mailing lists, but they may need to be double checked for formatting. Mailing list emails can sometimes alter the link in a way that results in access being denied, and double checking that the URL parameters are formatted correctly will get things working. We have been working with Locksmith on two of our e-commerce sites. Locksmith provides us with the functionality we need for our store but also has provided exceptional customer service and support. Highly recommend this app.
