I purchased this app after using 4 days of the 15 day trial period. Coming in, I had three specific goals in mind for my wholesale store. I read the articles provided, added the locks and keys as described and it didn't work. After several back and forth emails with Tristan, he pointed out my errors, I corrected them and we had two locks working. More emails, he sent line numbers of code in my theme where manual changes needed to be made. Third lock is now in place. The locks I wanted were implemented, the level of support provided to a trial user was exceptional - including messages received over a weekend. I'm a customer now.

The support for this app is literally unreal. The guys from Locksmith have guided me at every step of the way and have always made me feel confident and supported. The app itself is absolutely amazing. There is nothing that it can’t do. They have thought about everything and that makes everything so so simple to implement. If you need to lock products, THIS IS THE APP! You won’t go wrong

The Locksmith team is incredibly helpful. I needed some help with perhaps the easiest coding exercise ever (just had to hide prices unless a user was logged in and tagged with "Approved"). The team did not hesitate to offer their help, quickly implement the solution, and provide me step-by-step directions on how to replicate the solution. All-in-all, I would definitely recommend. Customer Service 10/10.

Great app and even better support. They made a custom alteration for me because I needed some functionality that isn't included in the app.

Absolutely love this app it has helped us control access to our site on so many levels, I would highly recommend this app to anyone needing to lockdown access to different areas or just lock the entire site. With top customer support (Ken) to boot helping with custom code when needed. Love it.

DONT USE THIS APP!!!!! Be careful if you decide to DELETE it one day. My website was down for 3 days, and I couldn't detect the problem until Shopify detected that when I deleted this APP, was the problem that stopped my entire website!!
Thanks for letting us know how uninstalling Locksmith went for you! It sounds like Locksmith wasn't fully uninstalled, and was deleted from your apps list before running the removal process to ensure none of Locksmith's code is left in your theme. We disclose that it's critical to disable Locksmith before deleting it off your Shopify apps list in our usage agreement upon installation, which can also be found here: https://www.locksmith.guide/policies/usage-agreement-annotated It looks like you wrote in and one of my teammates took care of helping you remove any leftover Locksmith code from your theme, so you should be good to go. I love the possibilities of this app. Had some theme compatibility issues with the code, but their support is top notch. Would very recommend this app with its support.

Incredible app! I have a courses/membership site and use this to hide menu items and pages based on the items the user has purchased. Also, the login form wasn't populating on the protected content page, I messaged Locksmith and they put in custom code for me to fix it within a few hours, amazing support and app!

Was charged for this app even after it’s been uninstalled
I'm sorry you were charged unexpectedly for Locksmith! No one likes that type of surprise, and we’re always available at [email protected] to sort out any billing issues and are happy to answer any questions you may have about your bill. If you write in, we’re happy to refund you for the days you did not use Locksmith. It looks like Locksmith was most recently installed, then several locks were created and/or updated, and after 15 days, Locksmith was uninstalled. Since this is not the first time Locksmith has been used for this store, you no longer have a free trial and a paid subscription was started on the last installation. Locksmith follows Shopify’s recurring monthly app subscription model, and we do not have yearly or usage-based subscriptions. You are invoiced every 30 days for your Shopify app subscription, and you pay in advance for the following 30 days. Just in case you're curious about the Shopify app billing cycle, I've linked more about it below from Shopify's website: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/your-account/manage-billing/your-invoice/apps#subscriptions So, canceling your active subscription during a billing cycle means that you’ll still see an app charge when that billing cycle ends and you receive that month’s invoice. If anyone ever has an issue with this, where a subscription is canceled near the beginning or middle of a billing cycle and you see a charge for Locksmith, we’re happy to refund or prorate a refund for the days Locksmith was not used. Great app! We wanted an app that would hide Shopify store pricing of selected products until we allowed certain customers to be able to view them. The app works perfectly for our requirements. I needed a little assistance in setting it up and their support (Erica) was extremely helpful - quick to respond and knew the app inside out. Can thoroughly recommend Locksmith.

OMG. Locksmith is an ABSOLUTELY AWESOME SOLUTION AND A GAME CHANGER TO SELL DIGITAL CONTENT BEHIND A PAYWALL. This app easily and quickly enabled me to implement a paywall and seamless checkout experience. Now, my customers can pay on my landing page, receive an email with the link to access my content and locksmith automatically checks that the email they are using to log in belongs to someone that already paid for such content. If it checks out access is granted or denied otherwise. Also, my users pay for 1 month access each time they pay. Locksmith makes it easy to automatically cancel their access after 1 month. Locksmith works seamlessly with Shopify's new user registration. This means that instead of having to ask users for the old school annoying registration (first name, last name, email, password) they only need to use their email to register. This cuts down the time from buy to accessing my paid content by like 80% and only requires one email instead of three. Shout out to Tristan on the Locksmith team who quickly assisted me with recommendations, documentation and super useful ideas. Shopify tech support recommended Locksmith and Tristan really knocked it out of the park. Thank you!

Incredible attention to customer detail. An actual human response to emails that's friendly and helpful. If only everyone was like this. And the product does what it says it does. Glad I found Locksmith.

Highly recommend this app - and more importantly - this team! The app is robust and does exactly what I was looking for, and then some! I've needed to use tech support twice (both because of my error and misunderstanding) and they were quite responsive and polite. I'm thrilled to finally have a way to achieve what I wanted without having to completely re-do my entire website. Can't be more happy with Locksmith and the team behind it.

Locksmith is very versatile, and easy to use. It has so many great features to customize your locks and has even given me ideas on how to make my locked products and pages more fun for my customers! Plus, their customer service is superb! I had a couple of questions and was helped within mere hours. I would definitely recommend Locksmith!

great app, just what we need. But maybe more importantly the customer service provided by Tristan was outstanding. He just took the initiative to fix something, it wasn't a bunch of back and forth which usually happens with shopify apps.

I can't say enough good things about Locksmith!! This app is perfect for our store, which offers different products in different territories. Our customers used to order items that were unavailable in their region, and were disappointed to find out afterwards. Locksmith will totally eliminate this issue. Tristan from the Locksmith team has been incredibly helpful in implementing custom code as well. Thank you!
