Absolutely love this app it has helped us control access to our site on so many levels, I would highly recommend this app to anyone needing to lockdown access to different areas or just lock the entire site. With top customer support (Ken) to boot helping with custom code when needed. Love it.

Just recently added the app! Tristan was AMAZING!! Helped me from beginning to end. Praying the app is just as amazing as Tristan!! So far so good!

DONT USE THIS APP!!!!! Be careful if you decide to DELETE it one day. My website was down for 3 days, and I couldn't detect the problem until Shopify detected that when I deleted this APP, was the problem that stopped my entire website!!
Thanks for letting us know how uninstalling Locksmith went for you! It sounds like Locksmith wasn't fully uninstalled, and was deleted from your apps list before running the removal process to ensure none of Locksmith's code is left in your theme. We disclose that it's critical to disable Locksmith before deleting it off your Shopify apps list in our usage agreement upon installation, which can also be found here: https://www.locksmith.guide/policies/usage-agreement-annotated It looks like you wrote in and one of my teammates took care of helping you remove any leftover Locksmith code from your theme, so you should be good to go. I love the possibilities of this app. Had some theme compatibility issues with the code, but their support is top notch. Would very recommend this app with its support.

Great app! We wanted an app that would hide Shopify store pricing of selected products until we allowed certain customers to be able to view them. The app works perfectly for our requirements. I needed a little assistance in setting it up and their support (Erica) was extremely helpful - quick to respond and knew the app inside out. Can thoroughly recommend Locksmith.

OMG. Locksmith is an ABSOLUTELY AWESOME SOLUTION AND A GAME CHANGER TO SELL DIGITAL CONTENT BEHIND A PAYWALL. This app easily and quickly enabled me to implement a paywall and seamless checkout experience. Now, my customers can pay on my landing page, receive an email with the link to access my content and locksmith automatically checks that the email they are using to log in belongs to someone that already paid for such content. If it checks out access is granted or denied otherwise. Also, my users pay for 1 month access each time they pay. Locksmith makes it easy to automatically cancel their access after 1 month. Locksmith works seamlessly with Shopify's new user registration. This means that instead of having to ask users for the old school annoying registration (first name, last name, email, password) they only need to use their email to register. This cuts down the time from buy to accessing my paid content by like 80% and only requires one email instead of three. Shout out to Tristan on the Locksmith team who quickly assisted me with recommendations, documentation and super useful ideas. Shopify tech support recommended Locksmith and Tristan really knocked it out of the park. Thank you!

Incredible attention to customer detail. An actual human response to emails that's friendly and helpful. If only everyone was like this. And the product does what it says it does. Glad I found Locksmith.

Highly recommend this app - and more importantly - this team! The app is robust and does exactly what I was looking for, and then some! I've needed to use tech support twice (both because of my error and misunderstanding) and they were quite responsive and polite. I'm thrilled to finally have a way to achieve what I wanted without having to completely re-do my entire website. Can't be more happy with Locksmith and the team behind it.

Locksmith is very versatile, and easy to use. It has so many great features to customize your locks and has even given me ideas on how to make my locked products and pages more fun for my customers! Plus, their customer service is superb! I had a couple of questions and was helped within mere hours. I would definitely recommend Locksmith!

great app, just what we need. But maybe more importantly the customer service provided by Tristan was outstanding. He just took the initiative to fix something, it wasn't a bunch of back and forth which usually happens with shopify apps.

We had a complicated situation where we needed different membership level logins so that we could display different pricing structures. Using Locksmith solved the problem seamlessly. Their helpdesk has always been personal and top notch.

I don't typically write reviews, but this app deserves it! This app is exactly what I was looking for to separate wholesale from retail. Originally, I thought setting up a wholesale channel on Shopify would be easy - and it probably is, if you want to pay the $2000+ a month for Shopify Plus. At the price point for this app, it cannot be beat! I needed to set up a separate area of my site that was only visible and accessible to approved customers using customer tags. Installation of the app and setting up the initial locks was super simple. I had a specific vision for how I wanted the wholesale channel of my site to be set up, including hiding checkout buttons and adding minimum order total requirements in order to checkout. This did require a little more coding that I am not exactly familiar with, but seemed to be no problem at all after reaching out to support! Tristan was quick to respond and install the additional coding that was needed to bring my vision to life! Tristan understood exactly what I was trying to accomplish and even suggested to add additional coding to ensure there were no loopholes that would allow wholesale customers to checkout without reaching the minimums. The customer service from this app was top notch! If you're looking to set up a wholesale channel on your site, I definitely recommend this app!

Super easy to use and works very well. Perfect for locking access to our online wholesale store. We only allow access to users with a specific tag.

Doesn't work Tried to create a lock on a page with a passcode - a very simple setup. Nothing. Didn't work. Not a good UX.
Hello! I'm sorry you encountered an issue when trying out the passcode key. I saw your email, and replied, about 30 minutes after it came in (20 minutes after this review), but by that time Locksmith had been removed. A lock not working is exceedingly rare, and is generally something which can be fixed. That's why we have our 15 day trial period: We want to make sure you have time to test things and work out any potential conflicts in the theme, or with other apps, before you have to pay for Locksmith. It's also important to note that passcode keys will remember you in the browser when you enter the code, and it may seem like they aren't locked at all. If that seems like it might be the issue, using a new private browsing session will show you what a new visitors sees. I can't diagnose what happened at the moment, since Locksmith has been removed from your store. But, feel free to reach out if you'd like to try again.
