MIDA Fraud Filter, Bot Blocker

We learned that 74% of our traffic was bot traffic. After installing, it crushed the bots, and we can see only traffic from the market we are focusing on is not arriving. The step-by-step with video install is way easier than nearly any other app I've installed, that needs configuration. They are super helpful and responsive as well.

Incredible. This app is just what I needed. You can block visitors by country (and it actually blocks them), and block bots (except those you want like Google bots), you can block visitors whose IP is suss and it gives you a score for the IP so you know whether it is trustworthy. I have been using the app for a few weeks, and have had zero issues. Deleted the app I was using before to prevent fraud as it was pretty useless, this one is the bees-knees.

I recently started seeing a large spike in traffic from outside the U.S., and it didn’t seem like genuine customers. After installing MIDA Fraud IP Blocker, I was able to quickly identify and monitor suspicious activity on my site. The setup was simple, and I like that it gives clear insight into visitor risk levels so I can better understand what’s going on behind the scenes. I’ve already noticed a difference in being able to filter out questionable traffic. Definitely a helpful tool for any store owner wanting more control and visibility over site visitors!

Despite checking the box to allow recommended bots such as google, etc, both merchants.google.com and Claude validated that MIDA is blocking web-crawlers, which prevents me from meeting specifications on merchants.google.com, because my contact page is not crawlable thanks, but no thanks, to midas

The app is extremely easy to use. I was set-up in minutes! Also, when I had a few questions, the team was there to answer them right away! I have received a wave of bots, and this app was able to help me block before they travel to my contact form or worse, fraudulent orders. Thank you, team!

This app worked perfectly to stop a bot attack / scraping traffic. My traffic went crazy from a couple new countries and wrecked my data, destroyed my conv rate, and even slowed sales due to skewed data and metrics. Traffic turned out to be thousands of bots routed thru a SG data center, scraping my website for my data, products, and whatever else. MIDA walked me through what to set up and the traffic dropped back to normal within an hour or 2. Incredible. Would highly recommend
