MIDA Fraud Filter, Bot Blocker

Very easy to install and blocked the traffic we needed to. Cleared up our data right away and allowed us to improve our customer targeting.

The app works great, is easy to use, and it is free, which is a bonus.

Incredible. This app is just what I needed. You can block visitors by country (and it actually blocks them), and block bots (except those you want like Google bots), you can block visitors whose IP is suss and it gives you a score for the IP so you know whether it is trustworthy. I have been using the app for a few weeks, and have had zero issues. Deleted the app I was using before to prevent fraud as it was pretty useless, this one is the bees-knees.

I recently started seeing a large spike in traffic from outside the U.S., and it didn’t seem like genuine customers. After installing MIDA Fraud IP Blocker, I was able to quickly identify and monitor suspicious activity on my site. The setup was simple, and I like that it gives clear insight into visitor risk levels so I can better understand what’s going on behind the scenes. I’ve already noticed a difference in being able to filter out questionable traffic. Definitely a helpful tool for any store owner wanting more control and visibility over site visitors!

Despite checking the box to allow recommended bots such as google, etc, both merchants.google.com and Claude validated that MIDA is blocking web-crawlers, which prevents me from meeting specifications on merchants.google.com, because my contact page is not crawlable thanks, but no thanks, to midas

Great app for limiting/filtering good bot traffic from bad!

The app is extremely easy to use. I was set-up in minutes! Also, when I had a few questions, the team was there to answer them right away! I have received a wave of bots, and this app was able to help me block before they travel to my contact form or worse, fraudulent orders. Thank you, team!

Really helpful quick responses. Helps with bot traffic.

It was easy to set up and support is fast and great!

Outstanding product, exceptional customer service. Would give more stars if I could.

Team is very supportive! and UI is very easy to use.

This app worked perfectly to stop a bot attack / scraping traffic. My traffic went crazy from a couple new countries and wrecked my data, destroyed my conv rate, and even slowed sales due to skewed data and metrics. Traffic turned out to be thousands of bots routed thru a SG data center, scraping my website for my data, products, and whatever else. MIDA walked me through what to set up and the traffic dropped back to normal within an hour or 2. Incredible. Would highly recommend

quick and easy to use. support is also reactive if you need help or don't understand how to make the app work. recommend

Very easy to install the app, the interface is fast and easy to use. The support literally seems to be available 24/24 :). Thank you.

Annette was very helpful. She assisted me in setting up the app, and it works really well for protecting against spam bots.

really quick helpful support

We’ve been using MIDA Fraud IP Blocker and the impact was immediate. The app identified and blocked a significant amount of bot and low-quality traffic that was skewing our analytics and wasting ad spend. Within a short period, we saw over 80% of suspicious traffic filtered out, giving us much cleaner data and more confidence in our marketing performance. It is especially valuable if you are running Google Ads or any paid traffic campaigns where bot clicks can quickly drain budget. The dashboard is straightforward and gives clear visibility into total visitors, blocked traffic, and bot activity. Having the ability to automatically block or allow visitors adds an extra layer of control without needing constant manual oversight. If you are serious about protecting your store, improving data accuracy, and making better advertising decisions, this is a solid tool to have in place.

Excellent customer service, very prompt and helpful. So far so good, its blocking the unwanted bots, app is FREE which is awesome and provides full analytics.
