CAUTION ADVISED! Whilst all seemed to be fine and smooth with this app, we have discovered that if you manually enter an order (which will automatically occur in your default location) and there is zero inventory in that location, when you change the fulfillment location to one of your warehouses that does have stock, Tipo Sync does NOT recognise that the location change puts the inventory quantity back into the default. The location change normally balances out the quantities and puts the default location back to zero BUT it only sees the original negative so when you balance the quantities out, it performs another correction to remove the original quantity. This only happens when you have a quantity of zero, so you have to manually add the quantities back in to correct this. Not too much of a problem if you don't have stock of that item for a while, but if you receive incoming inventory your stock levels will be less than what you have physically if you don't spot it and perform the manual correction. The developers deny all responsibility even after seeing screenshots; they merely offered us money off!

Super APP und sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Alle Produkten inkl. Tags, Beschreibungen, Kollektions etc. wurden übernommen vom Main Store und so war es viel weniger Arbeit für uns einen weiteren Shop zu eröffnen mit den gleichen Produkten. Ich hatte ein kleines Problem und Laura hatte mir sehr schnell dabei geholfen zudem war sie auch immer sehr gut erreichbar. Customer Support ist hier definitiv auch sehr gut.

Recently we installed your app to sync inventory between two stores. We have two stores; a retail and wholesale. When we first installed the app we made our retail store the source and the wholesale store the destination. However, we decided to delete the app from both stores within 2 minutes of linking the stores. After installing the app to sync inventory between our retail and wholesale stores, we uninstalled it from both stores within minutes. Despite this, app immediately initiated a two-way sync, corrupting data across both stores. Inventory was pushed back and forth between the source and destination. Product collections were removed from being visible online. Destination store banners were appearing on source products. Duplicate collections were created. Product tags were altered. And most critically, the templates we had painstakingly built in our theme editor were permanently deleted and overtop of that the content on our pages was overridden, so there was no way for us to even recover or rebuild the pages, templates, and content. This app even affected our backup websites. This experience has been unacceptable. We installed app with the clear expectation that it would simplify and streamline our workflow. Instead, it created significant disruptions and forced us to spend considerable time and resources undoing the damage it caused. What should have been a straightforward installation turned into a highly disruptive ordeal for our business. The scope of the issues went far beyond what could reasonably be expected from an app of this kind. Some of the damage; such as permanently deleted templates, pages, and content, was irreversible and has left lasting impacts on our stores. These are not minor inconveniences; they represent critical parts of our operations that took time and effort to build, and the fact that they were erased in minutes is unacceptable. In short, instead of adding value, this app undermined the integrity of our systems and disrupted our ability to operate effectively.

This is configured in the destination store’s settings. If full sync is enabled, it may overwrite fields like tags, collections, or content. You can read more here: https://docs.tipo.io/product-syncs/select-specific-product-information-to-sync Also, please note that our app automatically creates product backups (found in the “Backups” tab of the app dashboard). This means you can restore product data if any unwanted changes occur. It appears the sync may have been triggered before these settings were configured, which can lead to unintended results. What a great find! Really helpful with the 4 stores we have to sync them all. Taking a little bit of tweaking so that all the handles were the same then Laura @ Tipo has been really helpful with the setup and making it all work. Thank you
