Gtranslate are really not honnest and not skilled people. The app brought so many errors on my website, and they never helped with it, they ended up just blocking my account after maybe 3 years because I was insisting too much that they solve the issue. This is one of the worst support you can find, and the worst technology. Most reviews here are fake because they insist a lot for you to give a review when they do a small adjustment.

What this app has done has been to scare away all my clients and make me feel ashamed. This is because he has translated into Spanish the names of the people who wrote reviews with swear words such as "bitch", "shit", "Damn it", "North", "Arkansas", "British car club" "Law degree" ... ?????. and other words that had nothing to do with a person's proper name or nickname. It also changed me and deleted all the icons at the top of the page. It was a total lack of control and until I realized this error a few days passed. When I brought it to the attention of the GTranslate customer service they told me that they could fix the icons and it is true that they could be seen later. But with the other thing that was really more important, he told me that if I didn't use the paid version they couldn't fix it.

I was Scammed ! I tried the app, and remove the extended functions before the end of the trial period BUT I was Charged 37.99$ anyway. I immediatly wrote to the support team and NO Answer. I will alert Shopify Team ! :(((((( This is unacceptable

Unfortunely I must change my previous Review. the app stopped to work correctly a week ago, there is a great caos on my website at this moment: all the subdomains are offline, all the subdomains redirect on the italian checkout pages and not on the correct subdomains checkout and, MOST IMPORTANT, i have no support from the GTranslate theme to fix these issues asap. I have sended a lot of email in the last days without any result. I'm thinking to uninstall the app. Not good

Until someone creates an app which translates from Google as they do, you have to be with them... After that I strongly believe they will not have any customers left. I had troubles with updating only one wording! The customer service person told me to go to paid plan. Yes i did... And then nothing changed. I told them to delete url s they created. They did nothing... What they only say is paid plan paid plan bla bla . Nothing changes in paid plan!

I used this App for about 2 months. The customer Service are very slow and take all the time to answer questions. Application is really bad, the widget did not stop bugging. Flags appearing by itself. The language selector is not easy to integrate, specially on Tablets. They start accusing Shopify Theme. They almost made me spend a lot money on a experts for their own language selector. I have lost time by asking community help, a developper on the community came to confirm what Shopify finally told me. It was the App issues. The selector was stuck on the next section of the page on cellphone view. And instead of scrolling down, I end it up with a selection which was hiding the selector by itself. And at the end no languages could be selected anymore from the language selector. It was taking time to switch from a language to an other. To top of it. I ended up with all the texts on my website flashing back and forth from English to French once I decided to remove the app. And guess what? The customer service was denying their responsibility in this matter while I have a video of it, video that wish would have liked to share with you on this review, but Shopify does not allow me because no attachment field provided.

If I can write a negative star review for the G Translate support I will. The app has various problems, on which their Support is completely unhelpful 1) Incompatibility with Shopify's sitemap URL structure, resulting in all local language URLs being wrong on the sitemap, which is bad for SEO. I had to use a complex workaround. 2) Auto switch to browser language - it does not work, and their support is completely unhelpful, to put it nicely 3) Related to #1, with GTranslate each language will be a different subdomain, resulting in Google itself deeming every language as separate websites, which is terrible for SEO If you don't care about SEO and auto-switching to your customers' languages this app works fine. But you do, stay away from it!

Doesn't work well at all! until they don't find a solution to integrate with Shopify perfectly this app is a fail. for those who want to sell outside of the US choose an app the Shopify supports.

Unfortunately, I had to uninstall this app. It was causing loading issues on my site. The developer says this is not the place to post results coming from Mobile-Friendly Test/Google Search Console, so I'm removing the resources that couldn't be loaded because of the app. And BTW, I don't want "SEO advantages" as the developer states, just an app free of bugs and glitches that negatively affect the performance of my site.

I wouldn't recommend this app for website translation solution We moved from WEGLOT to GTranslate for a more cost effective solution. The support at GTranslate haven't helped get either of our 2 sites over the line. Lots of Canonical issues & Href issues causing errors in search console. Their technical support just keep telling us to wait but were in no idea when this will be solved. Our traffic has dropped over 70% since moving from Weglot to GTranslate. Were hoping they will solve this other wise we will have to revert back to WEGLOT will take another few months to reindex. My opinion is to use WEGLOT until they get their app and support up to speed

Customer service is non-existent. They do not reply. App created duplicate pages, and we can't get rid of them even after deleting the app

First of all, I want to say that customer service is not great! I'm new in this business and she spoke to me harshly. Also, some sub-domain problems with shopify and i didn't like the experience. The interface is hard to manage.

First of all, this is not a free app at all, if you want to translate your page into other languages you have to pay for it. I am actually giving a 1 star because this is the mininum rating. I have been waiting for over a week to solve an issue with content translations and widget positioning, but everytime i´m getting the same message: "someone will attend and check your issue ASAP". They seem to have many operators as everyday i receiving the same response but from different operators, but nobody do anything to solve your problems.

I tried this app FREE version and it doesn't work. The translation is completely wrong. SO it's not a free app because it works only if you pay. BYE! I said FREE version doesn't WORK. A customer can't choose this app because it's free ... it doesn't work. I trust you if a costumer pay it could work.

This is the worst translate app I have ever installed! Really hard to edit translations. Not user friendly dashboard.

Really Bad. After months trying to config today we've decided to remove it due is a HEADACHE. For example, if you have a mulitilungual site as https://fr.domain.com or https://de.domain.com etc.... NO ONE OF YOUR APPS will works due CORS. If you have installed a search engine or anything else all results will point to the main domain due SUBDOMAINS ARE BLOCKED FOR THIS APP. Even after explain this to support they don´t want (or don´t know) what to say. Really unprofessional. Bye. And to be clear: "1. What do you do?" I need to get this app working in all subdomains in order rest of app works properly. "2. What do you expect to happen?" I expect that another apps as labels or badges app will be showed not only in main domain as happens. "3. What happens instead?" For example, with Badges & Labels App all badges and labels configurated are working ONLY in main domain and NOT in subdomains due CORS Policy or something related. Bad bad bad....

Worst app I have experienced so far.. This might have caused Thousands of dollars in missing revenue I have launched a french campaign on the french market and spent money on a french influencer. Therefore, I was getting lots of traffic, lots of add-to-cart but o sales....someone recommended that I download the better-replay app and OMG. Ive been able to see what was the issue cause I was being able to see what my users were seeing : - Bugy translations - every elements on the cart page went totally nuts and keep moving all over the place like if the user's PC was being hacked live - All the prices increased from 19.97$ to 19997$ - the add-to-cart button keep switching constantly from english to french and couldn't make its mind AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS !

Worst of the worst of apps. Would never recommend. Has been taking a week inserting translations that would normally take 3 hours. After correcting translations, the app automatically keeps on creating new mistakes & changing our proffesional translations. Very uncomfortable to edit anything. Working with this app means you will be discussing issues with their customer support 24/7. Never had such a bad experience before.

Worst translation app ever! I highly recommend do not install this app. There are bugs and issues everywhere. I will name a few: *Translations keep changing randomly even if auto-translate is turned off. *Translations don't save. *You need to know HTML tags/coding when changing translations *Translates are horribly wrong and nonsense (for example "blog" is translated to "timewebing" in my language. Twitter is translated to "Singing while diarrhea" *Support begs for 5 start review all the time after making changes that are bugged the next day *Support admits that there are problems and bugs (they see that their own edits disappear but they don't know why). *URL translations are not working...My translated website links were broken for 3 days (lost many sales because of that). It took 3 days to fix the problem. *Support is promising to fix problems and help and then disappears for 2 days and another assistant has to take it over and I have to explain the problem from the beginning. *I don't want to even know what that bugged app does with users SEO and code. I really even don't understand why this app is allowed in Shopify. It makes Shopify's overall experience very bad. *Worst UI/UX I have ever seen I have been building different websites for many years and I have never seen anything like this.
