Translate store ‑ GTranslate

Don't install if you are not willing to pay for their paid version, lots of restrictions, you cannot edit,you cant even create a account on their website. Translations are not 100% correct,if anything wrong you will have to pay first & then only you can edit it. This app is not worth paying 12 dollars per month. I asked them to change the position of mobile widget for that they asked me that it's payable. Not everything has to be paid. sorry really disappointed with this app. Great now this app has blocked me just because of this review that makes this app a thorough professional app, because i found today that its uninstalled from my store & upon installing it again,its not working anymore,cost of saying truth & they think that they are the last app on shopify store that provide this service ???

Using this app from 1.8 years when the traffic increase to 13k they told me to upgrade server to 10k$ monthly package. Now our traffic generate 3 to 5k$ in sale through g translator and average profit is 600 to 800$. How can we afford 10k$ monthly server.

Very junk plugin, not recommended. When you uninstall this plugin, it will hog your second-level domain name, showing that you did not pay. The links to the website we made before are not displayed properly. This is an act that damages the seller's interests.

bad CS, and they charged me without notify me, and I don't need the paid plan , and i was charged 19.99 and get nothing

I asked to hide the language selector and my website, the answered the only way was to upgrade the plan. That was false since it was simply needed to add a custom line of CSS. Do not trust them, just trying to make you pay

La aplicación tiene muchos errores. Las tallas de S, M y L se traducen mal. Y las pantallas de pago (que es lo mas importante) no se traducen

It literally ruined my entire code and showed: "translations missing" all over the website. It was hell. This during black friday. Their support team just asked me to uninstall the app, I told them it made things worse, that I reinstalled it to address this issue. But they ignored. Me. Stay away from this app.

Horrible service from MILENA. The app doesnt allow us to translate slideshow and 1 hour of fighting she says we can do it ourself instead of helping like her other colleagues do normally. Such a pain to have to fight and loose so much time

They keep charging me even though I uninstalled the app and I have no idea how to turn it off ! The process should be simpler as small business owner do not have time to deal with this.

I am trying to setup the app, but find it difficult. I dont know if I shall copy and paste the code in the text box or copy and paste {% include 'gtranslate' %} this only.

Doesn't support domain sub folder configuration and we must use sub domain so that it works. Not optimized for SEO.

Been using the app for a few months, there's a lot of bugs in this program, all the number in my site will turn into XNUMX , I've contacted the CS a few times , and sadly this problem cannot be fixed. The cs also mentioned that "We know about this issue and it's in our roadmap to change the translation logic, however due to it being a fundamental part of the current translation and text parsing algorithm, we can't give a time estimate as to when this change will take place." if your website original language is in Chinese, this bug will appear on every single page of your site and they won't be able to fix it , so avoid using this app if your site language is in Chinese.

I installed the free version, unfortunately it did not work. Tested it in 3 browsers. Uninstalled the app again. Too bad.

Customer service amazing before buying the app. Later when we changed the theme and need them the most to have a perfect website launch, we are waiting 6 days (and counting...) without a solution for our website. Simple task to transfer the customization from the old theme to the new one. Unbelievable.

UPDATE 4.0: There are always random parts which arent being translated by the app. Really annoying. You have to check every custom domain page by page. Also the app doesnt work with Shopify Markets UPDATE 3.0: Awesome app with initial, prolonged issues. Were just getting started to really use the app since we had to wait for all parts - especially plug ins - to be translated. The auto-translations are semi-good. There are def corrections which need to be done. Its odd that some are randomly not being translated by the app. I really have to mention their expertise tho. By far the most prolific amount of options in comparison to other apps. If you want your currency to be localized it will cost around 100USD, which has to be paid separately and cant be added to the shopify bill. UPDATE 2.0: We changed from 2/5 stars to 1/5 stars. We gave the app 5/5 stars at first while being on their highest plan. Unfortunately, the app didnt translate crucial plugins. They assured us to change that in a timely manner. 2 weeks passed - nothing happened. We changed the review to 2/5. They did something while making all crucial plugins (eg reviews) disappear on the original page. Really disappointing right now.. Have to change my rating from 5 to 2 stars. The app still hasnt translated every plug in and weve been waiting 2 weeks now for that task to get done. Were on the highest plan they offer but the technial support is really lacking. They probably have a lot of work to be done but as a customer who is on their highest plan we demand faster solutions. INITIAL REVIEW 1.0: Awesome app. better than Transcy. Unfortunely I must change my previous Review. the app stopped to work correctly a week ago, there is a great caos on my website at this moment: all the subdomains are offline, all the subdomains redirect on the italian checkout pages and not on the correct subdomains checkout and, MOST IMPORTANT, i have no support from the GTranslate theme to fix these issues asap. I have sended a lot of email in the last days without any result. I'm thinking to uninstall the app. Not good

I wouldn't recommend this app for website translation solution We moved from WEGLOT to GTranslate for a more cost effective solution. The support at GTranslate haven't helped get either of our 2 sites over the line. Lots of Canonical issues & Href issues causing errors in search console. Their technical support just keep telling us to wait but were in no idea when this will be solved. Our traffic has dropped over 70% since moving from Weglot to GTranslate. Were hoping they will solve this other wise we will have to revert back to WEGLOT will take another few months to reindex. My opinion is to use WEGLOT until they get their app and support up to speed
