Scammed by "Discount" Banner - Avoid this App OneMobile is using deceptive tactics to force upgrades. They showed me a banner for a 'Discount Gesture' but clicking it secretly upgraded my plan from $25 to $99/month. Support is hiding behind the 'you clicked approve' excuse despite the misleading UI. This is a bait-and-switch scam. Merchants, watch your bills closely or switch to a different builder.
Hi there, Here's Ben. First of all, we’re truly sorry if the banner was not clear enough and caused confusion. That is never our intention, and we understand how frustrating unexpected billing changes can feel. However, we would like to clarify that any plan upgrade requires explicit approval from the store owner within Shopify’s confirmation screen. A third-party app cannot trigger or approve a charge on your behalf without your authorization. Updated 23rd Sept 25: You must ask to see what features are included before moving, the app works, customer service is good. Updated 28th April 2025: Missing key features that aren't communicated prior to moving. Moving apps is a real pain. So much is not offered on the lower tier pricing.

I chose OneMobile since it was the highest rated app on the Shopify app store. I had no idea how to build an app and you don't need to know how because this is a very simple process. I had questions in the beginning before I started customization, and Miley was so patient and helpful. She sent screenshots of exactly what to do which was so awesome! Once I sent my app for approval or publishing, Miley looked over it to make sure I didn't miss anything, and she quickly let me know that my customization looked impressive! She gave me the details of what to expect which I truly value because timelines are important when you own a business.
