Pirate Ship: CheapARR Shipping
All reviews
there should be an option to disable autosync of the tracking number from pirateship to shopify when we create lable. WHy you guys dont add this fucntionality. it is very simple. I am thinking to stop using pirateship because you dont have that option. Please dont ask me why i need this functionality. There is a reason i need it.
Download only if you're comfortable dealing with a maze of an APP... As someone who has been in technology for 2 decades, I find this App near impossible to navigate and customize. The whole process of having to assign packages and carrier services to orders is a nightmare and extremely inefficient. On top of that, their support failed to provide the basic support need. needless to say, this was a waste of time.
integrations with shopify is not working
As longtime Shopify Plus customers who signed up for Pirate Ship via the app store, our shipping was halted without notice. Chat support then demanded a photo of me holding my ID to resolve the issue. Why wasn’t this requirement addressed when the account was created? I have no idea who’s requesting my ID over chat, and this lack of transparency feels unprofessional and concerning.
Does not work with Canada. When you start registration you have to choose one of the US states.
You can't create an account if you're not in the USA. Unfortunately, it doesn't state that anywhere.
Super slow to generate labels & import. So dont plan on this to make the shipping process any faster with this app. They changed how they bill without warning. I also noticed that usps lost alot of the package we shipped with pirate ship vs. what we shipped with shopify. They claimed to be cheaper but they are the same price as Shopify and you are constantly being billed later on for random things so watch out. Also horrible customer service. Shopify shipping ends up being cheaper if you take into account all the times they go back and bill you randomly!!!
