Great app but it is missing an essential feature: email confirmation. Without it, people and bots will input fake emails and when you try to send out a newsletter, you will get blocked by spam filters and even shopify for having too many bounced emails.
Hi there, we've been waiting on Shopify to release double opt-in for App Developers for some time. Totally understand the frustration. We will be looking into possible solutions and anticipate double-opt in availability built into Pop Convert in the future. I've been using the Pop Convert app to create pop-ups and banners for my Shopify store, but it's been a frustrating experience. The app doesn't send any email notifications, which is a major issue for running a business efficiently. I can't be expected to check daily if the emails are working—there should be a system in place to notify users of any issues, but instead, we're left in the dark. Customer support has been equally disappointing. When I reached out about the email problem, there was little to no help. As a business owner, I need reliable tools that work seamlessly, and unfortunately, this app has fallen short. Would not recommend.
We're so sorry you experienced this. Our email functionality was temporarily disabled due to spammers using our app to send spam emails. Very bad and buggy! Go ahead...I dare ya to try and create an EXIT POP UP. After an hour of pulling out your hair and speaking to the customer service and Technical team you're going to write a bad review like I am doing right now. I saved all the chats and screenshot them showing I asked for a supervisor three times and the original Support Tech kept trying to give me solutions that would not work and so he wasn't very well informed about how his position was supposed to be handled with customers. So in researching this app that was about 20 to 30 minutes on YouTube and other sites screwing around putting up up and installing it another 10 or 15 and then wasting over an hour trying to do the mess around on an exit intent at that doesn't work and now spending 5 minutes leaving this bad review. Are you very busy and don't have time to waste like me? Then avoid this app. If you live in your parents basement playing video games all day smoking byd then of course go ahead and try this app

Not working. I have reached out to customer support days ago with no response yet. They advertise 24/7 livechat which is false. Edit: Reply to your response, i didnt receive any communication on 17/09. your live chat doesnt work. Please respond to my emails I have emailed multiple times.

The automation emails do not work. I spent a lot of time creating my templates and its been weeks without an update as to when the automation emails will work. I would ask everyone to look for a different app as they still have not given us an update nor do they know when it will work again.

Can't add my own email, the email you sent looks like: [email protected]. Useless.
Hey! Thanks for reaching out. You'll see the option to change your sender domain by navigating to Emails > Settings > Sending > From email. Here you can add your own domain and authenticate it for sending! Reach out to us via live chat if you need any assistance :)

Was enjoying it, easy to remove watermark and set up campaign, but after spending time editing the campaign it didn't even show up on my website. Waste of time.
Hi there, if the popup didn't show up on your site it's likely because it was previously closed. Please try clearing your cache or try an incognito browser.

Previously i gave a 5 star review because their support was good. But im changing to 1 star and also uninstalling because I needed it to be NOT displaying on certain pages. They insist that its already not showing but every device im using is showing. I have lost sales because of this app.
Sorry that you faced this issue. Let us know if you can reinstall the app, and we'll look into it right away! We haven't had other customers complain on this yet, but if you re-install the app I can guarantee we can fix the issue within a few hours :)

The coupon code doesn't show up.

The only page I needed a popup was on the checkout page but this app doesn't work on that page unless you have Shopify pro.
Hi there! This is a limitation with the Shopify itself and apps don't have a way around it. Une semaine après avoir contacté le support pour un popup qui ne s'affiche pas (bug confirmé par l'équipe du module), je n'ai aucun retour, ni aucune correction du problème. Malgré mes nombreuses relances, l'application ne fonctionne pas. Je précise également qu'il semblerait qu'il n'y ait aucun suivi puisqu'à chaque fois que j'ai recontacté le module, le même membre de l'équipe m'a demandé quel était le problème...

After a few tests, I saw that this app is not GDPR compliant. It is using Google Fonts and can be loaded before the consent popup. In other words, cannot be blocked and there is a potential risk of leaking of IP addresses using Google fonts.
Update April 6, 2023: We've removed the Google Font dependency and are in-touch with the customer to resolve this! Hi there, this has been escalated and we're looking into this now. We'll be in touch shortly.

Rules too limited. I can set the seconds before the popup starts, but once closed I can't re-initiate for less than 7 days. Makes no sense.
Hi there, I apologize for the delay. When a customer closes a popup, we've generally found that a week is a good timeframe between when they see the popup again. However, it makes sense that this should be a configuration option. We'll reach out to you shortly.

I haven't been able to even use the app because I can't get past it asking me to enter my email. nothing happens .. I've tried 4 different times now and I'm annoyed and over it. Don't even bother downloading it doesn't work.
