First and foremost, the POS Cafe app is an excellent add-on for any coffee business. We started our coffee business as a small micro-roaster selling our coffee beans on our Shopify-based website. When the time came to start selling drinks from a coffee trailer this app was the key to tying in our existing Shopify store with a fully functional POS system. We love the functionality to add modifiers and setting up the system is seamless. The online ordering option works very well with a WiFi printer and they are working on improving the functions as I write this review. Adam and Carmel are absolutely amazing, have excellent values, and are ALWAYS responsive and friendly, even if our problems are self-caused :) Despite the time zone difference, they are receptive to our needs as app-users and solution-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement. We at Burning Oaks Coffee Company HIGHLY recommend this app and the developers!

If you are on the Shopify platform and have a cafe, this app is an amazing tool for ringing in any product with modifiers. Great, timely support by the developers, they will ensure you are 100% set up and are quick to respond when you have issues/questions with shopify.. Easy to tie into your KDS or ticket printer, makes notes on orders, etc.

POS Cafe has improved my tea-ristas' and the chef’s accuracy in preparing customer orders. The app is intuitive and powerful, but what truly sets it apart is its developers who care about small businesses. After I decided to install the app, I was impressed that the developers, Adam and Carmel, reached out to schedule an onboarding call. This personal connection is rare, and it made all the difference getting up to speed using the app. I was also impressed by the video tutorials they have, which walked me through the setup in a clear, step-by-step manner. When Shopify’s quirks caused my sales taxes to be miscalculated, Adam and Carmel quickly explained the issue, provided a workable solution, and followed through until it was permanently fixed. When I needed my receipt customized to make orders easier for my staff to follow, they reworked it. The changes have boosted our accuracy and efficiency. On a busy weekend, the app glitched following a Shopify update. Adam and Carmel guided me through a temporary fix and reassured me that the problem would be resolved in the next update. They responded so promptly, I nearly forgot they are in Australia, and I am in the US. Their responsiveness, kindness, and problem-solving have been beyond anything I’ve ever experienced with a tech product, and I have over 20 apps on my Shopify store. If you have a café and need a great app to add modifiers to your orders, POS Café is for you. You’ll wonder how you ever managed without it.

We love how easy it is to make customizations to drinks. We use this in conjunction with fresh KDS. My biggest complaint is that it's next to impossible to get accurate sales data.

This app fills a need that Shopify really doesn't cover for those of us selling coffee. That alone is great. But what I have really appreciated from them is the customer service. Much like the other reviewers have mentioned, when we ran into an issue, not only were they willing to jump in and help walk us through where we had missed a setting, but they even did a quick update to the app to fix one we couldn't do on our own. Thank you very much for caring about your product so much!

I don't think I can fully put into words how much POS Cafe has positively impacted my business! The app itself is absolutely essential to our day-to-day operations. The POS Cafe team is very attentive and constantly making improvements. We had a small bug when we first integrated the app, and Adam responded within minutes, hopping on a call with me to get it sorted - despite a 17 hour time difference. I can't recommend POS Cafe enough!

POS Café has been great for our cafe & has allowed us to keep all our sales - online store, retail and café on Shopify. It is easy to use, and the support team has been really responsive to our feedback, rolling out new features regularly and having great communication.

Wow, I can't believe how great this app is! We've been looking for something like this for our business for ages. The developers have been fantastic in helping us set it up. We've only been using it for a short while, but it's already been a game changer. It's very user-friendly and easy to pick up and learn in no time. It was so great that I found this app! This is something Shopify has been missing for a while - the ability to add modifiers to products to customise them in a really detailed way. Adam & Carmel have been really great too - listening to my feedback and making changes to the app quite quickly. I highly recommend!
